Yeah, but I did really bad on my midterms. Gotta step it up and make use of college if it's costing me so much.
I only joined a little more than a month ago, so I wouldn't know. But I'll take your word for it.
I prefer waffles to pancakes though.

School has gotten crazy expensive. I don't know where they think average people will get the money.
Sorry your midterms were tough. Maybe you just had a rough patch. Don't be too hard on yourself! wink

So you're pretty new to Gaia, eh? I had no idea. I assumed since some minishop owners (like Happi) were
excited to see you open a shop that you might've been on here longer (maybe under a different name). 3nodding

I used to like waffles better but now I lean towards pancakes. Honestly I just love breakfast foods like bacon,
eggs, toast and the like a lot... I never liked breakfast as a kid but now I want to eat it 3 meals a day. heart

I think it's just cuz I'm lazy. I feel like my catchphrase is "five more minutes and then I'll _____". And now I'm experiencing the mid-quarter lethargy when you're not as motivated as you were the first week and you're not close enough to finals to really care. It is expensive though, and I'm trying to find a part time job on campus to help with the bills.

Miss Berri is actually a friend I met in my structural engineering class. When I told her I like to pixel and showed her my work, she said I might enjoy Gaia. Unfortunately, we don't have any classes together this quarter, so we don't see each other much.

Me too! Hated breakfast, I would much rather sleep in than eat....still do but you know what I mean. The dining halls open at 10am and stop serving breakfast around 2pm. I get off morning class at 11am, so I end up eating eggs, sausage, and tater tots almost everyday. It's so bad, I know. I'm trying to eat fruit more though.

Aww you're not lazy. School is a lot of work and stress. Most people want to "shut off" when there's too
much of it to worry about. And being in the middle of classes means you're smack dab in the humdrum
phase. I don't blame you one bit. I had a lot of drive when I was younger & by high school I was "meh".

Ahh you've met her irl. That's cool! heart I don't seem to live anywhere near the people I talk to on Gaia.
It's okay though since I get to chat with everybody here (and buy massive amounts of their pixels). xd

I've always been a night person. I'm crazy awake at 1pm and I'll be up until 7-8am. As soon as it gets
too sunny I start to zonk out lol. I never wanted breakfast at all but now I hate if I don't get some. It's
hard to be awake when I should be eating it so I just have it whenever. That and I love mac 'n' cheese.

I guess I'm more of a procrastinator than anything. But thanks for understanding. My dad thinks I'm not even trying.

Well, university is filled with creative young people with really fast internet. I was bound to find someone eventually. And yes, buying all the pixels is way better.
I'm more of an afternoon person. Not too early, not too late...just right.

Ah mai gawd, I want mac n' cheese so bad! They never serve it here, and I bought this microwave one once. Didn't read the label, and found out the hard way that it was macaroni and "soy cheese". *Shudders*

No problem sweetie. heart It's a parent's job to be overly critical (it's how they roll). I'm sure he'll come
around given time. And if not, don't worry about it. My 'rents were moody all the time when I was young
too. Once I moved out and got my life sorted they turned all sweet and understanding. It'll get there.

That is something I miss about school. I liked working with people and all the fun experiences I had.
Now I have to actively go out and search for these peeps. xp I used to adore taking art classes and
I took pretty much as many as I could cram into a semester. rofl I should see if there's some classes I
could sign up for (maybe though an art store or something). I just miss being crafty with other peeps.

I'm having mac 'n' cheese for dinner actually (I've been craving it). mrgreen I know there are several types
for the microwave. I found that you can even use regular box mac in there if you do it right. I just heat
the noodles in uber hot water for 8-9 minutes. I stop and stir 2-4 times and then drain 'em off. It turns
out great each time. xd You can just mix the butter/milk/cheese powder in the bowl afterwards... whee

Ah, I know. It's just that my dad only went to trade school, and yet he thinks he knows how hard university is. Not that trade school isn't hard of course, but I feel like university takes a lot more focus not to mention it covers a lot more material. But I just checked my grade for my programming class, and I'm ranked 7 out of 90. Actually have a high A in the class for once!

I like to meet new people in class and in my dorm, but I don't really like the clubs and greek life. I'll have to join one eventually to start networking for a job later on, but I really don't like how involved they are in everything.

But I don't even have an electric kettle. I usually borrow my suitemate's though for ramen. Next year though, we get to live in the apartments, and they have stoves and ovens.

I sees o3o
Crock pot does sound easier x3

I've been wanting to too =0 But I'm not really familiar with many cheese that seem to be in cheese fondues. *has looked up a few recipes for them* I think one with white wine in it would probably be yummy

I'm guessing soft cheeses like brie would be good. Maybe provolone or white cheddar too.

There you go mentioning things I can't have in my dorm!? Why Ducky, why must you tempt me with delicious sounding foods I can't have?

I see~ I don't think I've tried brie before~

I can't actually go get it yet XD (only 19) My boyfriend would have to go get it if we were going to use it o3o
