Okay...
I go to this seminar. I skipped karate class for it. Shouldn't have done that because it was mostly useless. There were two classes. In between the two, I go to get some lunch, and one of my tires blow. So I pull in to an apartment complex and hoof it down to the gas station to call a tow truck.
While waiting for the tow truck, it starts raining. Then it starts
hailing. Seriously, hail. In March, in Alabama. WTF? It's not in the best neighborhood, either, and the residents are freaking me out.
BUT the tow truck guy somehow misses the road, so after about
two hours, I go back to the gas station and call again. The guy comes back. By now, I've missed the rest of the class (which I've already paid for).
So then I go to get the tire fixed. I figure, the other tires are just as ancient as the ones that blew, so I have them all replaced, as well as having the alignment fixed, since that goes screwy if you even look at it funny.
$300 later, I have a car that almost runs like new. Okay, it wasn't a
complete nightmare. The tires I needed just happened to be on sale, so I got a good deal on them. What a waste of a day.
