I used to hate evverything about me and now since being with my ex. I have seen myself differently. I see that I have very pretty eyes and a cute nose and I guess I look really good with my hair up in a ponytail. I still hate the color of my hair though.

But that's really good :3 I'm glad you see yourself in a new light, it took a lot of crap to happen to me to gain a little bit of confidence, & I'm still on the way there.

So, I contacted the OP of this thread on another website 'cause she doesn't really get on gaia anymore, in the hopes of getting permission to start a new thread for operation beautiful. Only because, there's no way for me to block spammers and jerks who prevent new people from coming in because of their stupid... stupidness scream *cough* anyway, hopefully soon I'll be able to either a) convince Starlurk to get back on gaia and take care of this thread again or b) give me permission to start a new Operation Beautiful thread so I can moderate better. heart Can't be having anymore of those mean people coming in and warding off new beautiful people. Jerks like that are the only people I can't bring myself to call beautiful stare

Lauren - As for your TMI... wax 3nodding Hurts initially, but leaves you smooth longer and the regrowth isn't nearly as annoying, or so I've heard. I can't bring myself to go to a salon and have some other lady do it, and I don't quite have the balls to do it myself. I know a few women on another site that do their own though. Maybe work up that, I dunno. I've talked to a lot of people about it though, and they all say that it's worth the pain. You will probably be bruised and tender for a little while after the first time though, so prepare accordingly.
Been wanting to try sugar wax for my legs for a while... I just keep forgetting to get lemon juice when I'm at the store. sweatdrop

And I'll maybe start trying to write a good new description for it because I'm not too terribly fond of this one, I think it focuses too much on "fat talk" and not just self esteem/body image issues in general. Fat talk is a small part of a big issue. It's just as important to stop fat talk, but still, it's not the only main part of body image issues. <3

I'd love to wax but it's really expensive, and the idea of doing it myself is a bit horrifying xD I may try sugaring though.

Mhmm. I feel better, just the nap itself was full of sleep paralysis and kinda-sorta lucid dreaming. Which I'm kinda glad about because I've been trying to induce lucid dreams, but I just... didn't want one during that particular nap >.>
