Admittedly, my tummy isn't so bad. I have a long torso & short legs, so that helps I guess. That shirt is also really around the torso sweatdrop

I got some pants that day, & I have no idea how the sizes worked for those. I'm used to vanity sizes (the 1 3 5 7 9 deal) & these worked by waist measurements & legnths. Even though I had no clue what the legnth number was supposed to mean, because I bought a pair that was 27x29, & I'm assuming that the 29 is the legnth of the leg in inches, but I really don't know .__.

(Edit: the 29 was too long, btw. I have to hem them up.)

Clothe sizes confuse me.

._. I'm used to those kinda sizes too. I have 2 pairs of somethingXsomething but I can never remember which is which or what number I need for each one xD For tops, a simple small medium large scale is perfect biggrin lol

I found out about Operation Beautiful on a feminist/weight acceptance blog I love to read and the second I saw it I thought "I want to make a Gaia thread for that!" but never did. After a couple of months of never seeing a thread for it I decided it was time to spread the word to Gaia.

Yeah, this isn't some feminist league or anythwing. We just believe that everyone, of every gender identification, has a beauty about then that they deserve to see. We think everyone should be able to be self confident and have self respect and be happy with who they are. And if we make even only one person see their own beauty, then that's one step forward and that's good. That's all we're here for. To learn to see the beauty in ourselves and help others see theirs.

A little story I feel like sharing: So, I work at the Subway in my town (and I'm usually the one to ring people up); well I had a couple of sticky notes that I had found in the back and I wrote on them and hid them on the wrapper of a couple customers sandwiches. When they walked out of Subway they were glowing. =] It made me feel special.
