Does anyone know which guide or link has all the kins that can fight the trees, level 4 and level 5? I can't seem to find it.

Splicing can only be done with the original colors of a Kin; so if you want to splice a Fafnir recolor, you need two level 10+, solar and lunar Fafnirs. At the completion of the process, your two original Kin are still there.

All splices cost 1B in gold and require a Splicing Shard; these you use up no matter what. Ghostly Splicing has a chance at failure (you get a 10-pack of Kandy, which is an Alchemy component, instead of a Ghost Kinegg) while Fafnir and Glowing Shards are 100% successes (since they're Cash Shop only).

Fafnir splices are random, though seemingly skewed towards Tiamat/Unpredictable/Ifrit with the Bahamut/Starlit/Ambitious being rarer results. Khaotix is a user recolor, and therefore is NOT a possible splice result.

I utterly forgot to mention khaotix was a recolor by a user. d'oh!

I thought unpredictable was rarer. huh. oh well.
