I was wondering if Kindred Halloween Kandy still drops from Gaia Lab Open, and what stages? I need to grind a lot of these if they're still available drops. x-x I doubt they changed it, I'm probably just terribly unlucky with the drop rates.

You're in luck, they do still drop in stage 5 of both Gaia Labs and Gaia Labs open. However they don't drop often. I farm them sometimes and may not see any for about 45 battles or so, but then occasionally I'll see a cluster of them. Their rarity is why they go for so much on the mp.

It might be a faster strategy to farm for those directly and then spend some time farming for plat (stage 5 the wilds) and using the plat to buy more kandies. Things changed so you now earn up to 609 plat battling trees in plat mode. There is a soft earnings cap now too, but if it isn't too low that day, you can quickly earn 8k plat a day there.

Thank you for the advice! I'll use up all or most of Ember's stamina in Open Labs, then swap to plat and hit some trees. I noticed that Miasmal Viperex still has a low appearance rate. Getting those Eyes is going to be a nightmare.

When were Legendary Amulets added to the in-game shop? o-o I don't remember those being there the last time I played, but I could be remembering incorrectly.

I kind of gave up farming for Miasmal Viperex eyes; getting those and then getting a good reward from the eye was proving to be very expensive in time and heal potions, not good value for my time. It's worth it for collectors though.

I didn't realize they were there! eek I seem to have a vague memory of them in the store.plus a lot of people complaining about how most of them were experience amulets only, just like the rare ones. It's been over a year since I got a rare amulet that wasn't a useless one and they drop fairly frequently now in the wilds battling trees.

People crafting rare amulets from green ones are having similar results.

Alas, Lifegiver was an expensive limited release kin in the cash shops which is why it's so expensive on the mp. It got snapped up really quickly then people bragged about how good it was. But when I looked at the stats. it didn't seem all that much better than a Sakura. Btw, if you want a solid affordable kin besides ember to bolster your team while farming kandies, check out the guides to Lake Miasmal kin. There are one or two on that level that are cheap on the mp. Or you could just wait and win a strong kin from a Syc. seed.

Ah ok. I was just thinking after our chat I need to look inside the shop again to see what's there.

I forget how high legendaries can go, but the beginning guides have that information. I was already set with rare ones when they first came out. Rare 7% and 6% useful ones were still dropping occasionally.

I thankfully never got rid of my Sakura or Watermeat, so Sycas are still a breeze, but it wouldn't hurt to have a few other Kin for Capsule farming.

I'm a little surprised they never added the Radiance potions in the shop. Though there are some people offering splicing services, so I don't have to worry about my stuff being solar/lunar thankfully.

If I remember correctly, LIfegiver's damage was higher, but it's life was lower, making it easier to kill, just like watermeat. It's Sakura's life that makes it so valuable against those heavy hitters.

I have 2 Sakura and a Watermeat in my permanent crew, rounding off with Pumperilla and Ember for easy rig farming and loads of stamina.

Plat finds are still worth it and quite valuable and rare now, so hold onto yours. I have two plat. finds on my tree farming Sakura so earn an extra 12% battling those. That really adds up.
