Heya, bub. Some exciting news, we got a brand new User Hosted Event! That means this ol' event right here is made by Gaians like yer. Our good friends over at the Fishaholics Anonymous guild are hostin' an event for ya. Here's what they have ta say:
- March the 6th is a special day for the Fishaholics Anonymous guild here on Gaia, as we celebrate an amazing 9 years since the creation of this group. In 2015, the guild was founded initially as a place for trophy fishers and those working towards their Angelic Rods to gather and discuss their goals that were backed by hard work and perseverance. Recognizing just how many players enjoyed the game and could benefit from advice from their fellow fishers, or those who may want to trade and sell their catches with one another, the guild soon opened to any person who enjoyed Gaia's Fishing game.
Over the years, many different ventures with the Fishaholics Anonymous guild's name have helped to continue promoting this game and encouraging people to work towards their goals surrounded by like minded individuals they could come to call friends. While the guild itself has been admittedly quiet for the most part as of late, we still want to take this opportunity to invite you to join us and help breathe fresh life into Fishaholics Anonymous as we prepare to support many more projects and ideas that celebrate this beloved classic Gaian game. Whether you see us handing out Fishing Starter Kits to all players who want to be learn more about the game, or preparing for another Fishaholics Tournament that encourages more activity in the game for one month, you'll find the Fishaholics Anonymous guild working hard to show you our motto in action - "Fishing, Fun, and Friendship!"
