Look I know, I just just really milking the concept of eating him because it amused me.
My mother took offence when she asked me why I was laughing.

Well you should really study it... It's not Myths or Legends.. The bible has private eye witnesses that write. They even include embarrassing moments with themselves such as Mark running away, naked. Why would he put that if he was writing a myth or a legend. Trust me, if it were Myths and Legends it would sound far mor fairytaled than it does now.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT NOT TO SAY TO AN ATHEIST. I'm sure my message will have weight because I hardly ever type in all caps. If you want to convert us, you don't say that God would put me in hell forever if I didn't conform to your beliefs. That will just make more solid in my existing beliefs, because we'd say "what kind of god would d that? You say Heaven is filled with candy and happiness and people you've seen die, and INVITE us to join.

I believe in God and am Christian.

I find there are more reasons to believe in God than there are to not believe in Him.

People except many other things, daily things, such as news, without having been there themselves.
How does one know that it hasn't all been made up? How do we know that there actually was a car accident at [insert street name] where three people died? How do we know it's not a scam?

We believe what they say so willingly and we have faith in them, just because they say it's what happened. Just because they say they were there. There's not always videotape of things, and even if there is, how do we know that there wasn't some artistic skill used to create an accident scene that seemed believable?

If that seems odd that someone would do that, doesn't it seem odd that people would make up a God and an extremely long book just because they wanted to decieve others? If you say you don't believe because there isn't any proof, then you are contradicting yourself. You believe in other things when there's just as much 'proof,' but you don't believe in God because you don't want to? The Bible was written by man, but inspired by God.

Why can't someone have that same Faith in God? Why can't they take it as it is because it's been said? People take what's said by newscasters, and journalists because they are comfortable with other humans.

I think people don't always want to believe that there is someone greater than them. Humans like to feel in control. I'm not saying that I believe that God makes us move and controls are every action, because I don't. I believe that He has the power to, but doesn't use it all the time.

If a person can believe in something else, why can't they believe in God? I don't think it's a matter of proof, but a matter of willingness to know that we aren't the ones in power.

And no, I am not talking of other religions. I think all other religions were started from Christianity, but man wanted to change and manipulate things to their liking.
