No Self-Confidence: A universally unattractive trait?

Could you be attracted to someone who does not like themself?

I have no confidence in myself. I don't see any reason to like myself or be proud of myself. No girl has ever liked me or wanted to date me. I'm afraid I'll be alone and unloved for the rest of my life.

All of the time, I see girls who are confident and self-assured. Not arrogant or egotistical, but comfortable with themselves and proud of who they are. Sometimes I feel a little infatuated with girls like that - but the ironic twist is that because I am so depressed and insecure, no girl finds me attractive or wants to date me.

That's why I want to ask a couple of questions:

Is self-confidence universally attractive?

And, is NO self-confidence universally UNattractive?

I used to not know, but now I know and now they know.

However, women with no sense of self-worth usually judge themselves on how appealing they are to men and are thusly easy to get something going with.
Go find a girl who has a new boyfriend each week and start complimenting the ******** out of her. She's latch onto you like one of this little things from Alien.

When I was younger no one ever fancied me. Then after a while guys started noticing me. I thought it was because I had more self confidence.

But looking back on pictures of me a few years ago, I now suspect that no one fancied me back then because I was 2 stone heavier then I am now....

In all seriousness, I do like girls with low self confidence. Only the ones when you spend time with them their confidence starts to grow. I like that, I find it quite attractive.

I don't mind girls who are self confident, as long as they aren't over self confident and throw themselves at you or not even bother with you because they think they can do so much better.

Shy guys only attract shy girls. Girls may say they like shy guys, but over time it will start to grate on their nerves.

I personally find people with no self confidence unattractive. If you're with someone, you don't want to spend the whole time reassuring them that they're worth your time. Besides, by showing that you have some self confidence, you indirectly tell people that you're worth their time.
