while I agree with your statement, I think it was a little misplaced...see chicky here (Surf Kitty) isn't saying that Catholics aren't Christian because their preists have sex with kids, she's saying they aren't Christian because they "worship" saints and "dance pagan dances" around the Pope's hat.

What the bible condemns is idolatry.

This thread truly makes me sad. Catholics are christians this is not a matter of debate, it is a matter of fact. Regardless of whether you feel catholics worship saints or not it does not change the fact that catholics accept Jesus as their savior and that my friends is what it takes to be a sect of christianity.

By so strict an interpretation for "Do not make a sculpted image or any likeness of what is in the heavens above..." I suppose those who adore any noun thats not God are not Christians?

Those who pray to their nouns like they are gods are sinning as far as what christians outline as sinning. Catholics are Christians, but I find them to be hypocritical.
I've already said, "The actions of the pope and the church speak for themselves" as pertaining to the treatment of idols in the catholic religion.
