I thought my suggestion for rerunning the state fair theme would be chosen eventually, so I made an avi for it yesterday. I was right lol i didn't think it would be right away though. Ideally I would've suggested it two days ago so it would coincide with opening day of the Minnesota state fair, but I wasn't thinking that far ahead that day. Now it's being run on the day I'll be at the fair, so I won't be voting as much due to being in a fried food coma. Gelato nachos here i come.

I'm not sure how often people make avis for themes that haven't been been announced yet, but I have bought items thinking "this might be useful if a ____ theme comes up." I can't wait to see what people do with it. I loved the entries last year.

I don’t really make avis ahead of time but I do definitely buy items like that in case they’ll be useful for future runways lol it’s always so great finding something new.

I only skimmed the theme titles last night so I thought Goth-maid meant, like, gothic maids and not goth mermaids

My excitement to submit an entry has yet again failed to double-check the smaller text describing the theme lmao

Unfortunately, I submitted mine when I was about to go to bed so I couldn't withdraw in time crying
I at least made a request to take it down as soon as I realized I goofed up

tho if im being generous there is a general lack of masculine items which is just like has always been a bit of a Thing + good proper armor is p androgynous + trying to come up with a way to signal/convey This Person Is A Lesbian within the constraints given... it was probably always gonna be a bit wonky

Beyond brown is hard to work with because there ain't much to work with imo and plus I see people entering the cosplay of the girl it's based on and no doubt they'll place so I'm debating on entering an original piece that'll inevitably lose to a cosplay lmao
