NO. For alot of reasons:
1. This is Gaia! Come on! I thought we were different than Myspace, Live Journal, ect.
2. If they were actually your friends you would know if they were on Gaia or not!!
3. What if you have people who dislike you out there? Or stalkers? They would flame you, blackmail you, ect.
All in all, ITS NOT A GOOD IDEA.
