Closing Statement:
After more than a year serving the Gaia community, The Army has stopped operations starting today 26th of August, 2015.
It was really comforting to witness the appreciation and gratitude from those who made a good use of our stores, just as it was heart breaking to see other individuals taking advantage of us.
I feel compelled to write this closing statement to address those who might not understand that this initiative was driven only by me, and took a great amount of time, money and dedication to make it work.
It's never been a secret that the Army is just me with my mules (15 to be exact), and the items being sold were part of my inventory. Apparently it wasn't as obvious that when my inventory ran out, i started selling items i bought with my own money in the Gaia Cash store.
The decision of spending money on Gaia is a personal one, and in no way I'm obliged to continue to do so, or to give all my items away. I chose to do it and now i choose to stop. No one has the right to be mean to me about it.
The rules of the Army were clear from the start, although some were unpopular, they served the purpose of helping deflate the items in the marketplace in a fair way that followed Gaia TOS.
I didn't do any illegal activities, i didn't manipulate the marketplace, i didn't take anyone's money. If anything, i lost trillions of gold in the auctions.
The rules kept me sane from dealing with the dozen of vendors that would try any kind of tricks to inflate the value of items by playing with the auctions, EVERY WEEK.
I wish those who criticize the Army could understand the amount of crap i took from 15 mules, setting 20 auctions each, weekly, over a year.
Some innocent people may have made mistakes at bidding, but again, this is not my responsibility, and Gaia offers help for those who misprice, once in their account lifetime.
I did not make myself rich with the few people who made mistakes, if i have any sort of "wealth" is due to being an active user for over 10 years, and for supporting the website with actual money donations during those 10 years.
All donations received were sold immediately through the stores and i kept nothing for myself.
I invite you all to continue your individual efforts to deflate the marketplace and make this a better community, i will continue to do so in my own way, but as for the format of the Army, is over.
Thanks to all the supporters and the affiliated stores. And most of all thanks to my husband for making my dreams -and many other gaians dreams- come true.

Welcome to
gaia_gaiagold gaia_gaiagold
Our Mission
List all kinds of items under marketplace average prices to deflate their value,
hopefully making them accessible to more Gaians.
We're not a Charity
But our work might help you fulfill a quest.
We accept donations
You can send us your undesired items and we will sell them through our stores.
PLEASE READ
We will not accept bids earlier.
We can't cancel auctions! It's not an action available in Gaia.
We can't control who wins the auctions, it's all up to the Marketplace.
We're not selling any of these items off the marketplace.
We're not donating items.
No returns. In the Auctions YOU are responsible for your offers.
TO THE VENDORS TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US
You might feel very smart by making profit off our items.
You're just an a*****e.
And everything you do, comes back and bite you in the a**, sooner or later.
It's not wishful thinking. It's a fact of life.
