Firstly, congrats on getting to Level 10! It's not an easy thing to do.

I don't see how they would get away with doing this lol
There are people who have countless alchemy items locked to their account and if they do away with everything, then all those items are now worthless, same with caches.

It just doesn't seem feasible to get rid of backwings either because like what if you are in the middle of the crafting of them and the system is shut down?
Then you're stuck with a lower stage wings, or worst case scenario, one of the formula that don't even provide wings. (assuming a person that destroyed a small or medium wings and didn't have the components yet to get the the next stage.)

I feel like there would be so much involved in converting everything over to a new system to keep things fair for alchemist's who have already been in the system.

If it's any consolation, I remember a Gaia mod addressing this fact. I'll have to go back and try to find it (as otherwise my comment is really just hearsay):

But I believe the consensus was that the reason they (Gaia staff) did not, at the time of the post, make backwings easier was due to the fact that people had already crafted them and the mods did not feel it did those people justice.

So it is definitely something they are well aware of, and something they had the opportunity to do in the past, but chose not to.

I honestly don't know why they have planned.. They don't want to really say much other then its going to be a whole new system.. I just hope they actually 'FIX' it. Like stop using Hard-to-Find items, old Cash Shop items, basically anything you can't get anymore from a Shop.

Well when they "fix" it, all that will happen is new issues will arise.
They should stick to bandaids on the current system imo...

I don't think they should use cash/gold shop items only...
That takes all the fun and difficulty out of it.
At that point it really would just be open a shop tab and buy what you need, and there's no challenge in that.
I do however think the items that are used should be released in a new rig.
Like maybe a rig crafted through alchemy, much like caches/cases.
When you open it it could contain nearly any equip item used in alchemy.

Of course there would be restrictions on this too so you don't get like seraphim's wings out of it...
But it's a starting place.
