Create up to three characters; agent, mage and vessel to exploit different story arcs. Team up with a partner or fly solo to join the battle against an invasion which threatens all life on Earth. Will your character remain loyal to the human race or betray them to become a god? The possibilities are endless...

If you have questions or are interested, please stop by our discord server. Its nothing fancy, but we're relatively active and chat about the roleplay as well as the plunders that life brings. We're an easy going bunch that respects one another's writing, ideas and characters. So far we're in the age range of early 20's to 30's with a wide range of personalities, but we all get along. We'd like a few more faces around the guild and characters in the story, so we hope you join our merry group.

This guild follows GaiaOnline ToS and contains sexually suggestive material, but presented in a tasteful manner of literature and art. Vulgarities and graphic perversions of sexual material is strictly forbidden within the guild and GaiaOnline. If you can not tell the difference, please do not join. JANUARY 2X00 PUBLIC NEWS ❱❱ SKY ASUNDER

There is a tear in the sky above Hokkaido, Japan. Creatures of another world enter through the Emerald Gate. Hokkaido is lost and many lose their lives. Panic spreads throughout the globe as nations unite to form the Unknown Dimensional Agency with the very best biologists, chemists, geologists, astrologists, physicists and many other fields of science. While the military does everything they can, these scientists are charged to create a defense against the creatures traveling out of the gate and unstable energy interfering with modern technology.

FEBRUARY 2X01 PUBLIC NEWS ❱❱ MAGE HUNT

Containment seemed impossible until a break through was made with a special child the scientists called a Mage. The unknown energies surrounding the gate were evident in the child's aura. It was able to suspend the alien elements coming through. The child was called Alpha and taken in by U.D.A. Their experiments lead to barrier technology creating three mage walls around Mt. Fuji. During this time, more Mages were discovered. A select age group of children were "afflicted," by the gate's energies in Japan. By official order, every child was to be surrendered to the government for training and research.

MARCH 2X02 PUBLIC NEWS ❱❱ ATOMIC PRISON

Protests began as children were taken from their families The public was left in the dark about mage abilities. No one liked the secrecy, not even the government. However, it all changed when a child went atomic in Tokyo killing 20,000 people in an instance. U.D.A explained that in times of extreme stress, Mages lose the ability to control their energy which is why they need to be contained from the outside world. The public demanded Mages be imprisoned and contained. With their wish granted, the populace returned to living in blissful ignorance while every Mage in Japan became a prisoner in a facility.

APRIL 2X10 UDA NEWS ❱❱ TRANSFER STUDENTS

All Mages were taken to facilities to learn how to control their powers. Many lost their lives to experiments, field tests and their own inability to control themselves. Through many failed experiments U.D.A learned human connection is required for Mage abilities to flourish. But not to just any human. Scientists have discovered humans in the same age group containing dormant crystalline energy (manastone). Mages can draw off these stones to enhance their abilities. Empyreans can do the same. These humans are called "Vessels," and act like batteries at first. As the bond to the mage grows, the Vessel's manastone is thawed into constant flowing energy granting the Vessel magical capabilities and turning them into a Mage. One scientist has deemed this the power of "Love." A small town called Shiri has been chosen as a control experiment where Mages are allowed to attend public school under cover as regular children.

AUGUST 2X10 UDA NEWS ❱❱ VESSEL TRAINING

At school, vessels were naturally drawn to Mages. Friendships and relationships formed quickly over the first few months. UDA upgraded their blood hound technology in order to identify which humans had manastones after an Empyrean murdered a vessel in Shiri. Ginma Masaaki, Haruno Mika, Saito Eris and Kabuto Ikki were able to kill an Empyrean for the first time by shattering its crystalline core, which scientists believe to be the "heart," of the creature. Now, a group of Vessel candidates have been paired with Mages for training. These Vessels have earned their place as a romantic interest, dear friend, trustworthy student or a potential agent. They now live in the UDA dormitory and attend training at the facility. Mages and Vessels are still sworn to secrecy, still attend school and are labeled as interns in the public's eye.

JANUARY 2X00 CHARACTER AWAKENING ❱❱ SKY ASUNDER

As a child, when the sky was torn asunder by emerald lightning and the storm of energy swirled the sky over Hokkaido, something changed the child's eyes. The child wouldn't have began to understand the feeling surging through their body nor the longing in their innocent heart. However, a small amount of power would come to bare in the most curious and stressful ways...

FEBRUARY 2X01 CHARACTER EVENT ❱❱ MAGE HUNT

As a child with little memory of what was going on in the world, the child would experience a change of lifestyle. Whether it was a terrifying kidnapping, traumatizing murder or heartless surrender, the agents of UDA would come for the child. Perhaps the child would be hidden for awhile, whether they were loved or coveted for their magic. But within the next month, UDA would come... They come for all.

MARCH 2X02 PRISON EVENT ❱❱ ATOMIC PRISON

Caged and hidden from the world as a child, UDA wasted no time experimenting on them. Confirmation of mage abilities was needed and the strength of those abilities to be studied. The child may have made friends among the mages or agents, but they disappeared one by one. If the child was lucky, a kind and loving scientist may have taken them as their charge, but the majority were cruel... Expressions of love were few and far between. One semblance of hope would always visit the children in the dreams to give them a sense of peace; a silver haired child called Alpha. It was true that the so-called school was more like a containment facility to train a mage to be emotionless and in control of their powers at the beginning. However, as the children continued sheltered lives and their powers designated as weak they were allowed more privileges and connections to the outside world with items normal children enjoyed such as video games, art, music, movies, gardens, etc.

APRIL 2X10 UDA NEWS ❱❱ TRANSFER STUDENTS

Ten years ago, the first round of Mages were taken to facilities to learn how to control the powers the gate granted them. Many lost their lives to experiments, field tests and their own inability to control their powers. U.D.A has learned that human connection is required for Mage abilities to flourish. They can draw off a manastones, dormant energy resting in the heart of special humans called Vessels. One scientist has deemed this the power of "Love." A small town called Shiri has been chosen as a control where Mages are allowed to attend public school under cover as regular children. A select few are to be under the guise of "Transfer Students," while other Mages are to remain imprisoned in facilities. However, there have been issues at the main facility where Alpha is contained. Ghostlike apparitions are said to be haunting mages warning them of the events to come. . . However, the teens have their mission; make friends and hopefully fall in love.

An ability that is easy for your character to use repeatedly that does not drain too much mana. Even as a novice, your character would be able to use it at least three times consecutively without connection to a vessel. As your character's mana grows, so shall its potency. A simple defensive or offensive ability that clearly portrays the theme to your character's magic.
[Expert] ● ● ○
A difficult move for your character to use and requires half of their mana. However, its difficulty is also rather versatile and can be used in a manner of different ways. It can drain them easily without a vessel connection. This will be a complex ability that compliments your character's magical theme.
[Master] ● ● ●
The ultimate attack that can have affect on an entire area, engulfing it fully in destruction or protection. This move is the powerhouse and is only used in times of extreme stress when the Mage sees no other option. A new master will pass-out after use of the skill. With practice or connection to a vessel, the Mage can sustain themselves.

As a child, when the sky was torn asunder by emerald lightning and the storm swirled over Hokkaido, something fell from the sky. A shard that changed the child's heart. The child wouldn't have began to understand the longing and empty feeling in their soul. It may have caused them to be withdrawn from all others, feeling little no connection or overly friendly in attempts to fill the hole. What was going on over Hokkaido may have caused fear around them, but as a child little memory would exist. To them, this is the way the sky has always been!

FEBRUARY 2X01 CHARACTER EVENT ❱❱ MAGE HUNT

As a child with little memory of what was going on in the world, they may have some recollection of children disappearing in their neighborhood, their family harboring a mage or even committing hate crimes against families who had a mage. Perhaps they even witnessed a mage using powers which could have been amazing or traumatizing!

MARCH 2X02 PRISON EVENT ❱❱ ATOMIC PRISON

What happened in Tokyo would instill the child's disposition towards mages to hate or to feel compassion. Friends, family, teachers or neighbors could have been supportive of the mages or hateful. Events as horrific as children being hung, mage homes being burned or mothers who lost their children being shunned. A child with an innocent heart could feel compassion for those outcast by society or be the first to lash out in anger against them.

APRIL 2X10 SCHOOL NEWS ❱❱ TRANSFER STUDENTS

In the small town of Shiri, there's all kind of buzz about the new dormitory and the transfer students coming in for the new school year. There's so many rumors going around town about the dorm's funding and purpose. Local news states its a dorm for children whose parents work for UDA in Hokkaido, which is why they are often visited by UDA agents or take trips to the facilities. Whatever the reason, at least one of those kids seems interesting whether the teen is happy to admit it or not...

JANUARY 2X00 CHARACTER EVENT ❱❱ SKY ASUNDER

The moment the sky was torn apart, the political powers of Earth began pulling their best, brightest and most adaptive. From tactical outfits to fight the gate creatures to nuclear scientists to study the new form of energy, adults were snatched up from all corners of the world to investigate the gate and protect the people. It would be extremely rare for anyone on the front lines to survive, but those who have now pledge their life to UDA and unveiling the mysteries beyond the gate.

FEBRUARY 2X01 CHARACTER EVENT ❱❱ MAGE HUNT

Another wave of recruitment was done for UDA personnel, but with a heavy focus on security and doctors as they began pulling in mages to facilities. Tearing children away from families, welcoming children to the facility and experimenting on them. Many agents were horrified by their own actions while some rose above the chaos and became a beacon of hope in this time of madness. Quite a few were consumed by their work, driving them to obsessive and merciless means in search for an answer or end.

MARCH 2X02 PRISON EVENT ❱❱ ATOMIC PRISON

What happened in Tokyo would forever be burned into the agent's minds. Those who were soft-hearted and allowed Mages to escape would never forgive themselves. Others would struggle with their perception of the Mages in attempts to continue to view them as human. They were just children, but they were children of the sky. Tainted by the magic of the emerald gate, could the agents truly believe they were human? Especially after all the disturbing stories spread through the agency of Mages murdering their families and slaughtering innocents. Atomic Tokyo could have been avoided. It was a necessary evil to cage the Mages and learn about them. Experiments and training went beyond human limitations until a discovery of love was made by a scientist. Changing the very essence of the UDA facility and granting Mages more freedom in their prisons. They were being humanized once again. While some agents agreed, others did not...

APRIL 2X10 SCHOOL NEWS ❱❱ TRANSFER STUDENTS

Setting up and prepping the Mages to attend school at the small town of Shiri had been a mission in the works for five years- since the discovery of love empowering the Mages. Strings were pulled and lies were made as the dorms and stories came to be. Several agents have been elected to follow the Mages in the field, posing as teachers, parents and shop owners while others continue to observe from afar to further their knowledge.

Empyreans live on the other side of the gate, attempting to break through to conquer Earth. Not many humans have seen an Empyrean. However, many agents have experimented or battled against Empyreans. Mages who have proven trustworthy have been sent on mission to battle isolated gate leaks. All these events happen very close to the gate. Its not unlikely that a citizen of Shiri would have memories of encountering an Empyrean...

Empyrean Biology
The UDA have scraped for samples, unable to take a live specimen in for research and lacking the power to defeat one. Information about the organic composition of these creatures varies from specimen to specimen. While some can be identified in relation to existing organisms on Earth, other genetics leave scientists baffled. However, UDA has surmised this much; no matter the architecture of the alien all extremities require nourishment and connection to the main body. Once severed, the flesh is rendered useless. Biologists still ponder what type of sustenance these creatures require to survive, but with the discovery of Soul Shards in recent events they can now speculate...

A post from one of our latest events. My RPC recruited two characters to investigate the murder of a student in town. A vessel, Masaaki, was able to lead the group to the culprit as it sang a haunting lullaby to lure him in. . . to his own death.

Agent Spade followed behind the pair as they traveled. "Tch," he sucked on his teeth, annoyed by the fact Haruno was getting so close to the whelp. Their bond was eerie. Gasai couldn't figure it out. Watching them, he could tell their interactions were natural enough. How the hell did they become so trusting of one another? He was beginning to believe Kyrie's hypothesis was correct. After awhile of walking around, the agent was growing tiresome of the goose chase. Bonded or not, there was nothing to lead them here. "Alright, I've had about-"

Not many things were able to cut off Gasai mid-sentence, but what he saw in the tree caught him off guard. Hand on his pistol, he turned off the safety. What... were they looking at?

Tendrils slithered and shifted, quivering at the delectable flavor of crystalline life melting like sugar in its mouth. Protected by the cocoon as it feasted, the other-worldly demon couldn't help but sing in glee. Every lick tasted Nobu's tears. Every bite relished Nobu's laughs. The very essence of the boy's soul was being ripped apart and consumed. His energy morphed the already wicked form of the creature into a darker shade. With one last shudder, the tendrils ceased. The song went quiet. Eyes. . .

Tendrils twisted to reveal lidless eyes dripping with iridescent white sludge. Wide and vibrant the eyes had one focus.
"MasSsaa-aAaki."







Ten voices spoke within the confines of the vessel's mind for only him to hear. His name was spoken with delight. Nobu Yuki knew his name. Now the entity knew his name. It knew he liked sweets. It knew he was fragile. It knew he had family. It knew... he was a vessel. Like water, the black coils rippled over the glowing cocoon towards Masaaki. Eyes grinning as they slithered through the grass, the song began to sing once more. It grew louder. Deafening the world. Masaaki would not be able to hear anything else. He could try to cover his ears, but the tendrils would be there first. Slithering out of each ear after manifesting from thin air, they ran down his body, grasping his neck, pinning his arms against his sides and gripping his thighs so tightly the blood would cease to flow. He would lose all feeling to his legs. Masaaki could cry, but no voice would be heard. The Empyrean's illusionary tendrils paralyzed him with pure unadulterated fear and would torment him further. . .





While the black coils in the grass slithered around the agent, the cocoon before them began to open. Acid poured out, disintegrating the foliage of the earth. Steam rose around the humanoid figure. Fingertips dripped with black sludge. "Chi-ld of EmpYre-an," its voice was distorted, crackling with static. Half its body rose, turning towards the Mage. Shots were fired by Gasai, but the tendrils quickly immobilized him. Only Haruno and the oily shadow stood to face one another. Its hand, dripping with darkness, reached out to the girl. "The gAte a-a-aWaits yoU." Unable to compose itself, the humanoid figure twisted and skipped. As if it were lagging from a bad connection. Its head knotted. Its shoulders shuddered. As the dust cleared... its lower half was nothing but jagged pieces of sharpened metal dripping in the same inky substance as the rest of its body. Faceless. Creepy. Oddly inviting. . . This was an Empyrean like no other.

Masaaki is trapped in an illusion. Its all in his head and he will not be able to see beyond the horrors in his mind. The eyes of the tendrils will turn into teeth and begin to devour Masaaki bite by bite while showing him the last gasping breaths of the ten children the Empyrean consumed. Use NPC Alpha to guide you out of the illusion and get as creative as you wish. Hopefully, he escapes. Mika will need his help. . .

Workaholic. Agent Spade pushed forward on his agenda. Hole in his chest? It had always been there. . . now literally. He was bandaged from the waist up, but his white dress shirt and black overcoat hid his wounds from sight. Scowling face never changed from its heartless expression. You wouldn't think he was injured, except for the man was sitting in a wheel chair. . . "I want a progress report on the Empyrean Core research. Out of the footage we've compiled, I need to hear confirmation on successful cross references. Facts, not theories. Concrete visual portrayals of similar Empyrean Hearts. Now," his words were cold. Eyes never connected with his subordinate. His gaze couldn't be bothered. He continued to scan the training results and energy readings from Eris, Ikki, Masaaki and Mika- No. Steel your heart, Agent. He had to look at them objectively. They were subjects, soldiers, operatives. Anything but kids. They were the key to humanity's survival. Agent Valkyrie's "love," experiment gave them the illusion they were by any means normal. The development of their skills. The fluctuation in gate energy. Did they develop out of instinct or were they pre-determined? How far could they stretch their abilities? There hadn't been a development of this caliber since the Mages were locked up. While the chip on his shoulder refused to compliment her, Ace knew in the back of his mind Kyrie was on to something.

"Request a weapon's expert and barrier engineer to overlook the shard research. I want to know if its plausible to harness its power to use against the Empyreans or strengthen our barrier," Spade ordered, taking the reigns the F03 manager had left behind. "Tch," the agent hissed through his teeth. One of their greatest discoveries in the last ten years and Rokaku was at the campground? Ace was starting to think the manager's mage sympathizing was out of hand. He almost dared to say he missed the former head of the facility. Keeping silently to himself, an subordinate hesitated. Fearful to approach, the agent swallowed hard before breaking the silence. "What is it?" Spade snapped as a new report unrelated to his current agenda was passed. The subordinate didn't speak of its contents. He dared not to interrupt Spade's hasty reading. It was a report announcing the death of Mage Berserker. A team from another facility was dispatched. Judging by the roster, most were mercenaries. Spade wasn't a fan of guns for hire. Ace wasn't angry. He injured. Mika quarantined. UDA had every right to send out a different team to hunt the kid down.

Spade knew about the transfer. Tobias had been shuffled around so much, he didn't think the kid would do anything funny. Why did he? The former Manager approved lethal force. Speculations were written down for the reasons. Failed experiment. Agent killer. Turning the pages, he read over the fluffy parts. All for... Lilith? The boy broke free to fight tooth and nail to reunite with the frozen princess. Even if Ace and Mika had been available, the seasoned veteran doubt the hunt would have gone different. Frustration festered in his throat as a vehement grumble. Dark gaze met with the reporting subordinate. "Keep this report classified to military personnel only," he growled, not wanting another distraction to keep Kyrie from her work. F03 had lost a total of three mages now. Teenagers and their emotions. . . a nauseating pit formed in his gut. "And, contact F02 about suppression technology. . . for Mage Spark."
