PROGRESS UPDATE (2017/01/16)

So far, I've been working for about 5 hours on the new "Eastern World" section.

------------ • The avis are done, although I might change them or add more later.
------------ • The section header is done.
------------ • I've added all the Indian and Arabian items I could find.
------------ • I've started adding Asian (China/Japan/Korea) items, but there are so many!

Anything tagged nouveau belongs in the 20th century. Despite art nouveau's rather humble beginnings in the 1890's, the decade it is most associated with is the 1910's, which is also, sadly, the last decade of it's popularity. It was very quickly overtaken in the late 10's by the more simplistic and sensually modern fashions of Art Deco (the iconic look of the 1920's).

Gaia's art nouveau designs are heavily influenced by the traditional art nouveau illustrations of Alphonse Mucha (Danse des Etoiles, Nouveau Autumn/Summer/Spring/Winter, and Petite Wormwood).
