Some feedback:

Some of what I guess would be XSS-prevention tools on quick edit are beginning to get in the way. I have a post I constantly quick-edit, and its subheader contains a greater than sign. On the textbox in quick edit, the & turns into & g t ;, and once it's submitted, just gets reduced to &. I don't mind the initial conversion; I understand that it's for security. I would just like my characters to stay unedited after I hit submit.

Quick edit also omits any content inside tags that I'm guessing it doesn't recognize? Issue can easily be replicated by quick-editing any post that has text wrapped in

[align=justify][/align]

.

I'm not able to reproduce the issue with the ampersand, but thanks for letting us know about the issue with justified text! I added the bug fix for the next update.

Really? It happens to me all the time. The only other extensions I have are adblock and lastpass, so I'm not sure if they're causing the problem. I'm on the latest version of Chrome, on a Win 10.

Edit: I edited this post to include lastpass in the list of extensions, and the & symbol in the spoiler got changed to an ampersand. Grr!

Whoops, I misread that. You're talking about the greater than and less than symbols, not the ampersand.
It's an easy fix.

It’s fixed. I’ll be pushing out the update later. It also addresses other HTML entities; for example, the copyright symbol.

Having an issue with GU on Mozilla
About 30 minutes ago I was in my inventory and when I clicked an item the item window loaded white then these black circles just like...exploded out from it. Ever since then the inventory section of GU hasn't been working for me. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it still wouldn't do it (using Mozilla browser). I tried it on Chrome and it works just fine over there. Any suggestions?

Edit: Now nothing GU related is working for me D:

That's very odd. I don't the initial problem is entirely GU's fault, as all we do is add extra content to it after the box has loaded; we don't impede Gaia from loading it normally.

As for GU not working, that is hard to say. Can you share a screenshot of the console Ctrl+Shift+K (Command+Option+K on macOS) to see what it says.

Yeah Its nto working for me either, like the WONDERFUL all in one daily gifts wasnt there, i had to get them one by one as if i didnt have GU

I'm also having issues. Apparently for some reason, nothing GaiaUpgrade offers is coming up, including quickview of announcements or notices or the trash dive counter. It's actually pretty annoying. I'm also on Mozilla 60.0.2, though I apparently have an update for it. Maybe if I update, it'll fix the issue?

Edit: Just restarted and now have FF 61.0. Didn't bring anything back.

I'd like to echo the 'active' GU abilities not working, though for some reason the desktop notifications popped up for the first time in days. Quickviews aren't working, dumpster dive isn't working. Only the drop down menus work. And we'll see when I post this if Post Style works.

Firefox (and Chrome) will automatically check for update as well every few hours and when it starts up. I just recommended people to manually update to fix the issue immediately instead of waiting on the browser to check.

This is weird.... I noticed now that when I clicked on the Dumpster Dive shortcut by GU, it takes me to the 4th of July Cash event page instead. Maybe something invisible is overlapping it?
