Oooh~ X3~ Thanks for all the spiffy browser links!

The links need to be fixed. Just adding a BBcode tag somewhere in the name will help.

Mozilla Firefox
Links are now fixed... thank you for that suggestion. wink
I have recently try to edit and try to post a topic/reply and it doesn't seem to do it with iCab 3. This means it's rendered uncompatible.
IE7 Beta 2 has been tested and seems to load the page correctly.
Seamonkey 1.0 is compatible with no glitches. (updated Feb 4, 2006)
Konqueror was tested with no problems.

System: VMware Virtual Machine with 256 MB RAM, 6 GB HD, KUbuntu.
I would be very, very careful about saying a beta product is more secure, when there's no evidence for it. :

Is there any way in knowing which browser is the best for towns?

I use FireFox and it freezes all the time. >.> It doesn't seem to have that effect on other people though.

I just downloaded SeaMonkey and tried opening towns, and it works in the trainstation, just when I try to go anywhere else the towns screen turns black and does nothing.

Could this be a problem with my computer or the browser?

Did you download the SeaMonkey for Windows or Linux?

Try clearing your cache for the firefox one or downloading the latest flash:

Flash Player 8

Other than that...might be a browser/firewall issue. Not sure.
I'm having trouble with towns as well, both in IE and in Opera.

In IE,
arrow the towns screen opens, flashes the picture of the houses and whatnot quickly once,
arrow then goes black while the little loading environment beam at bottom stays white.
arrow Then it does nothing. No matter how long I wait.

Under Opera, it just acts asif I've not clicked it at all. I've just downloaded Flashplayer to see if that would help, but it doesn't.

Please PM me if you might know what's going on. I post too much to be able to find this thing again.. =/

Aged Lunatic

Might wanna organize the list a bit more, its... hard to read o_o; Bit confusing.

And also in relation to Shining Celebi, I would most definitly not list IE7 Beta's as a more secure.

IE6 is still stable release and actively patched for any holes (Meaning it really is not 'Full' of holes), IE7 is still in beta development stage, and for each build setup that has come out, there have been many holes found and reported nearly a day or two right after the release, so I would definitly not refer to that as more secure sweatdrop
Updated Browser Conditions and Compatiblity with new observations

Aged Gaian

I always use Firefox and I never have any problems. o.O

In fact I have more problems with IE running multiple windows compared to running multiple tabs in Firefox.

The only problem I have is with Gaia Homes; but that problem occurs on whatever browser I use on this computer. (It doesn't have enough CPU power; 183. ;.; )
