Are you using Chrome? Or Firefox? If it's the latter then usually all you have to do is completely exit out of the browser and re-start it. That should kick your settings into effect.

same issue on chrome, except it got worse somehow?
originally it just said "10 new announcements" that were all the same thing and could be removed one by one, but now it says 40 and the number doesn't go down no matter how many of the announcements i "read". i heard gaia changed how it sends out new announcement notifications, is that why the reader is broken?

I was having issues with it too, but figured out a solution until they fix BetterGaia's issues with announcements. I disabled the announcements part of BetterGaia and then downloaded GaiaUpgrade which was having issues, but they fixed them like within a day or so. I'd suggest doing that until BetterGaia fixes the update part on their end.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but recently I've been noticing that BetterGaia is breaking the announcements. It's multiple of the same announcements and they just stay there no matter how many times you look. It never used to do that. Anyone else been having this issue?

Gaia's announcement systems may have gone under some changes upon the return of Lanzer. The site's code is being updated.

What happened?:



The announcements only load a single announcement and duplicate it for how many announcements you have. Closing the window does not count as the announcements read.

I've been getting funky blue and yellow flashes in my browser window after clicking on the Draw All for my Daily Chance, only lasts a few seconds and it's only when I click that. Thought my monitor was going to hell!
