BetterGaia is no longer being updated, as allvanishing no longer uses Gaia.

Last update to BG was on October of 2015.

His domain bowafishtech no longer exists, so it's safe to assume that he is gone.

RIP, BG.

On the bright side there's a new Gaia addon called GaiaUpgrade.
You can use both addons together or just replace the old with the new.
It isn't the same as BG, just adds a bunch of functions to help you through the site, maybe future updates will have something good for us.

Hellooooo.
I downloaded this extension fairly recently, and my browser is Google Chrome. In the settings I marked it for notifying me whenever an announcement pops up, a message appears, etc. But since I've had it this way (and it appears through Chrome notifs, which I've never used before), my laptop has randomly shut down on me three times. Not consecutively, maybe once a week. Although I think it happened twice in the previous week.

It would shut down whenever I was on Gaia, no "Shutting Down", no nothing. It's like when you hold down the power button and it just shuts off. My computer hasn't overheated and I'm sure it's not a heating issue to begin with (I don't really have any issues with this computer, it's an HP 15000 Notebook, or something like that). My Operating System is Windows 8 btw (maybe that's the problem LOL). Anyway, I've disabled Chrome notifs to see if the problem would stop. If it continues, I might have to assume it's the BetterGaia Extension?

I was wondering if you have any suggestions about why this was happening? Any help would be appreciated, thank you! I'm not entirely tech savvy sweatdrop

I doubt BetterGaia is your issue, but if turning off Chrome's notifications help, it may be a problem with Chrome itself.

Dear BetterGaia,

I have one request. Since GaiaOnline won't do it. PLEASE FIX THE GUILDS T.T, there's some style adjustments that can be done (and given that you can apparently change the rest of Gaia (thank you) the Guilds should be simple wink ).

We need an updated style (like the rest of the site).
Some extra buttons. (Like a "Tag" button please, but the multi-quote will serve my purpose, auto-replacing % username % with a quote would work).
Pretty please!

Would it be possible to add a feature where you could sort your inventory based off price?

For people like me who have over 3000 items, it's a pain to have to manually go through ALL of the items to fine just a few to sell, and it would be nice if you could sort them as such.

Something is preventing me from loading pages properly on Chrome. I will load slowly then ask me if I wanted to kill the pages. It does not do this with other browsers so I decided to check by turning off the app. I can now load Gaia properly.

I'm using Firefox and BG. Did Chrome have any updates prior to the issue? If so, that's probably the root of it. Also, hi again. :p
