Hello allvanishing!
I come with bad news of a bug I found with BG. :[
I have found that with BG enabled, my profile coding breaks while in edit mode.
When using the body and html tags separately to add two different backgrounds
(a background, then a layout image used on top of the background)
the image that is supposed to be on top doesn't appear.
I have a thread over here describing the issue in more detail.
The bug in BG's coding is also messing up the black header bar while in edit mode as well.
So, hopefully you'll check this out and fix it in the new update. heart
I pretty much concluded it was BG, as when I disabled it and went to edit
the profile in question, the background and header bar appeared as they were supposed to.

Yeah, I just figured out that it was BG earlier today.
Granted, I don't know exactly what all BG is doing on profiles
as it isn't required for them, but when I disable it, the profile is just fine.
The only weird thing is, is that it is only happening on my mule's profiles...
My profile is just fine & dandy when editing. '~'

how often am I supposed to get upgraded versions of BG? I have version 0.2011.9.10, ans I don't see any of the newer shops, like Bifrost or a link to Bid Blast from the dropdown menus like shops and Marketplace.

Firefox version updates slower than Chrome version, and also allvanishing doesn't update Classic Navigation much anymore. But it would be nice to see updates to that -hinthint-

First off I would like to say I absolutely love BG.
That being said I have a question about whether something
is possible or not.
Is there a way to stretch the forum page back.
Not quite the way it was before I got BG but just a small
bit.

ok, but I do have the latest version, yes?
classic nav update would be nice
and maybe the option to "restore default header", so that it's the same as the normal headers on gaia, without customization

Under the options panel, if you uncheck "Use Classic Navigation" that will give you Gaia's current navigation.
This will give you the link to Bid Blast.
Bifrost will still have to be accessed via the shops directory.
Another way around without giving up the classic navigation is to put a link in your shortcuts.
I'm sure allvanishing will be adding the missing links with the next update.

avatars being in small, little squares? Is that a BG thing? Or did Gaia do that? x___x

I don't like these changes, whoever did them. >__< And I want it all back. TT^TT
