Hi! Sorry for summoning you here, I hope it's not a problem. It looks like there's some problem with the granting of the new voting achievements for Runway and I wanted to ask if, AFAYK, the granting for them is manual instead of automated (e.g. mods manually grant them).

No, these should not need to be granted manually. Please post in the Bugs forum if they aren't working correctly.

It looks like they added progress bars for the achievements located on the My Profile section of the Runway page. It's just a bar, and doesn't give an exact number, but it is a nice addition.

No offence for the developers, but those progress bars seem rather wonky.
After voting today, other than for "Runway Committed Voter", it also showed a bit of progress in the other achievement I still don't have, "Runway Committed Contestant". But I did not enter a Runway contest in the last five days. (I noticed because I made screenshots of my profile page before and after voting today.)

Regarding invisibility threads in the achievement forum. I found an example where it appears to have worked. The CB thread had a reply 10 minutes after creation. Shows how what's supposed to happened isn't always what actually happens.

Looking at the post history and this quote makes me believe the achievement was unlocked years ago.

That's my test mule xD And yes, I did not get the achievement from that recent thread. I was going to give it a few days in case the grant is just delayed though. Also, I've seen other evidence of someone else who may have had it granted from that that forum recently. It's odd.

In an attempt to understand what's going on with the new Runway voting achievements:
Since when I got the Frequent Voter achievement, I kept close track of votes I've given. From Frequent Voter to Committed Voter, it's 3000 votes (5000 total). I've hit 3000 today, not counting repeated votes (votes given to entries I had already voted for), and still I've not received the achievement. If my count is wrong, it can only be wrong in defect, not in excess (meaning most likely I've cast a little more than 3000 unique votes). The progress bar in my Runway profile shows that I'm almost there, but there's no way to know if it's 10 more or 50 more votes until I get there.
So:
- it's evident that the system is bugged or not accurate and for some reason it does not count all the votes. Still the discrepancy is not huge, at most a few dozen votes out of three thousands.
- it is possible that repeated votes are not counted by default, but this is purely speculation on my part. I would be more confident on this if, upon hitting 3000 unique votes, I had obtained the achievement but, as it is, it's possible it simply randomly does not count all the votes, no matter if unique or repeated.

I didn't know the achievement progress bars don't work until you submit your first entry. Guess just voting doesn't make you a true Runway participant. The screenshot below shows what I saw before my first submission.

If you're interested in numbers, you can right click the bar and choose "Inspect" and it will show the percent progress from the webpage source code. Confirming the numbers you already have, Frequent voter increases by 0.25% for every 5 votes and Committed voter increases by 0.1% for every 5 votes.

It seems to count each of the 3 categories separately. If you make 4 votes in each category, the progress doesn't increase at all but if you add just one more vote to each category, the progress will increase by 0.75% for Frequent voter.
