~could someone please explain what the 2020 monthly collector achievements are & how we earn them, please !
In a nut shell, each month of 2020 has a specific set of items. To get the achievement for that month, you need to collect all of those items. The original announcement with all the details is here.
~does that mean we have to own all 50 items for that momth ??
Okay, weird Question! but I used to play Gaia on an old account, and I exchanged an Agate ticket like... 2-3 years ago?? and at the time, I was allowed to gift the achievement to two other users upon exchanging the ticket for the achievement
is this still the case? or does the ticket only grant it to the ticket holder?

You are still able to use an agate to give an achievement to two others.
Coin circuit. 1st bonus post for Journal, profile comment, forum post, forum vote, runway reward, daily gift, and the zomg npc freebies. And I get distracted in the forum and good avis. And I haven't been back to Lake Kindred for months. sweatdrop [/thread hyjack] emotion_facepalm
Also, if you're interested, I can trade you some Gold and suggest which alchemy recipes to make so you will reach level 10 yum_strawberry
srry for jumpin midquote but is it possible to impart some of ur knowledge on me too? im actually tryna lvl up by doing cache formulaes - lots of recipies have way too many items to get hold of or are unlisted and not enough in quantity so its tough =(
Don't worry it's ok. Sure, I learned a lot from the alchemy guide I mentioned. First, it's recommended to switch Gaia currency from Platinum to Gold. This will make alchemy a lot cheaper from start to finish. It's great that you are doing cache formulas, those are the best formulas when leveling up in alchemy. Since it's always possible to get all the needed components by opening Philosopher's Caches, it's always possible to get enough components for each cache formula, and the components are usually much cheaper compared to non-cache formulas. I recommend having about 100 or more of each cache type (Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Aquamarine, etc.) in your inventory. Philosopher's Caches can be bought in The Bifrost store. If you buy and open at least 2000 Philosopher's Caches, you will get plenty of each cache type, and therefore you should be able to get all the needed components. No need to buy components in the Marketplace, when they're much cheaper, always available, and faster to get by opening caches. When making formulas, always make formulas that matches your current alchemy level for maximum experience per formula, because then you only need to make 10 formulas to level up. For example, if your alchemy level is 2, you only need to make 10 level 2 formulas to level up to level 3. Make 10 of the same formula for each level, so you only need to multiply the needed component amount by 10 when gathering them. And check if cache formulas on higher levels requires alchemy items made on lower levels. For example, each Moonstone (level 5 formula) requires 1 Bottled up Moonlight (level 1 formula), so if you already made the Bottled up Moonlights at level 1, and decide to make 10 Moonstones at level 5, you already have 10 of the needed Bottled up Moonlights, and only need to gather 100 (10 times 10) Smooth Whetstones (found in Sapphire caches), and 20 (2 times 10) Silver Tokens (found in Amethyst caches) to craft and complete each level 5 formula and reach level 6. I hope my answer was useful, and sorry if it was confusing.
ive been doin tht but ive heard from a friend of mine tht it really doesnt make a difference if u switch or not coz when u buy lots, the price will be deducted the same as when it is in plat? =00
ohh thts useful! ive gotten the caches already - i prepared for it and i was donated lots too so thts checked off =) i just didnt knw how to go about it =0 the alchemy-ing as i keep failin the low chance of success crying
oh no while ur explanation is lengthy as hell, i understood it! =D
so theres no way i can lvl up like for example if im lvl 2, i cant use lvl 3 formulas since its locked as im lower level? =0
i honestly thought id need more than 10x of the same lvl to level up as it seemed to take ages for me to level up. glad to hear thts not the case - thanks for tht!
phew! it seems even if levelin up through caches, its still gonna take a while especially if they each require crafting from lower levels like tht! =0
better get myself prepared and equipped for a long journey ahead! @_@
Yes, it will cost the same for expensive items priced in Platinum like in the Marketplace. However, other areas of Alchemy like the prices of the cache formulas and crafting the formulas will be much cheaper if your currency is set to Gold. For example, formulas that costs 1000 Gold each to craft will cost 1 Platinum (10 000 000 Gold) each to craft, if your currency is set to Platinum. That's 10 000 times more expensive compared to simply using Gold. Yes, formulas can take some time to craft due to low or very low chance of success. This is part of alchemy, all your formulas will be successfully crafted if you try long enough. And if you listen to your favorite music while crafting them, it may be easier. I'm glad my explanation was understandable. Yes, that's right. To craft level 3 formulas, you first have to reach alchemy level 3. Yes. You only have to craft 10 formulas of the same level to reach the next level. You're welcome and don't worry, go at your own speed and take breaks whenever you need it. Also remember you only have to prepare for one level at a time. So for each level, buy 10 of the same formula you wish to craft, then gather all the required components from the caches to be able to craft all 10 formulas to reach the next level. Following this, you will soon reach level 10 in alchemy for sure.
