I wish I had this when I started roleplaying, it would have been a very useful aid!

I like this idea of a magic system as well, I've seen one too many roleplays involving magic that have no guidelines or anything so that section is definitely recommendable.

That's one of the reasons that I put up these guides. Too long have we been plagued by sub-par magic roleplays. All it needs is a little thought to post as well as the veterans. Might take you twice as long, but they won't mind. 3nodding

I like this guide---a lot, even. But even though I don't think it was stated outright, it feels like it's more guild-based than anything else.

And while much of the guide can be used as a (very) basic starting point for all roleplays, it seems to be based more on fantasy/magic settings. Or at the very least, action-based. *does a lot of character development in rps* xD

Still, definitely keeping this link for future reference. Like, for when I'm not in the middle of typing up a post. >___>;;

I'm in love with this guide, actually. I've seen a few other good guides around (as well as a copy of the AMP, like you'd mentioned yourself), but condensing so much information like this was a really good idea.

Lady, I love adore admire respect you so very, very much right now for making this guide. You are awesome.

Now if only the number of neko/demon/vampire/werewolf/romance/crap-RPs would diminish. Until then, we can only teach, pray...and throw things at the n00bs. Might I recommend rocks? They make a wonderful projectile that is not only quite hard, yet can be found year-round in abundance.
