A Guide to Understanding Evolving Items

I have a question and I apologize if this has already been asked or covered. I didn't really want to take a week to read through this entire thread.

What exactly does it mean when you say an item is fully evolved? More specifically, does that mean that I'm able to use 2 or more poses at the SAME time. Or does it just mean I'm able to use 1 pose at a time but I have a full choice of poses. If I want to use 2 different pose options on my avatar at the same time, does that mean I have to buy 2 of the same evolving item?

Yes, you're right.
You can only have one pose at a time, but a wide variety of poses to choose from.
You could only have multiple poses if you had multiples of the same item to wear.

So I want to buy the Enchanted Book EI from the Marketplace. Why are some generations more expensive than others? And if I buy it from the marketplace is it already evolved? And if I buy this EI, can I wear more than one item/pose at a time? Like could I wear 2 things at once or only 1 at a time?

Yes, you're right.
You can only have one pose at a time, but a wide variety of poses to choose from.

So I just bought the Enchanted book 2nd gen. from the marketplace. Can I only wear one thing at a time? So I can't wear the hair and the dress (or what ever it happens to be) from the same EI at the same time? How come?

I bought a Zodiacal generation item in the marketplace. It was the one with the blue and white short hair. I haven't exactly checked my outfits in a while, but when I changed from one to the other, my zodiacal item had changed to a completely different set of items from another Zodiac. So my question is; once an item is completely done evolving (like the Zodical was) do they still change while in the marketplace? Because mine did and now I have to buy another Zodiacal to get the hair back. x:

Fret not, the Zodiacal has not finished evolving. That is to say that you will (when it is complete) have all of the poses from the 1st through the last evolution, so your hair will be back. Furhter, you don't have to buy another to have the hair, just wait; having another will allow you to have more than one of the items Zodiacal offeres on your avatar that is all.

All items on Gaia only allow one of the poses to be on your avatar at any given time. The EI's (Evolving Items) are no different from any other item in this matter. The EI's differ in that they offer a larger number of options for you to wear on your vatar than traditional market or store bought items. This doesn't mean you can wear them all at once, but it does mean that you have a wider variety to choose from. Now if you want to wear more than one of the items an EI has to offer than you will need to have more than one of the EI's in question. So as an example if I wanted to wear the wedding dress and enchanted hair from the Enchanted Book EI, I would need two copies, if I wanted to add the Castle scene a third, the horse a fourth and so on.

the EIs have lots of stuffs in it. can I equip all of them at the same time?

i.e: this particular EI has a jacket, pants, wig & a handheld item.

I want to equip the wig and the jacket at the same time...can I do so?

It was probably already explained... but I am a bit slow so..

I bought a evolving item in the premium shop just now. Its 11th generation.
If I equipe it, will it start evolving after a certain time? does it have to be
equiped/?

As per rule, you may only equip one pose at a time with items that have multiple poses. If you want to wear more than pose, you'll need more than one of the item.

EI will evolve when it is schedule to evolve, no matter where the item is. Even if the item is equip, not equip, place in storage locker, or listed in the MP, it will evolve.

I've just gotten gaia cash, and I want to buy Custom Cut. Should I buy it now, cause I only have 500 left? Or should I wait? Will it's price raise if I wait? And will the item still evolve even after I buy it?

(Like will the item evolve into another generation, or will it still be the same generation, just some more items? Or will it evolve, and still keep last generation's items?)

i brought the case of pietro 10th gen. awhile ago and iv been waiting for it to evolve but it hasn't so my question is will it ever evolve and have all the items or am i just stuck?

I bought prince of the sea for the eyes, now i don't have the eyes available. I can't even change outfits and save it because i don't have it. :I this sucks.
