as soon as the report comes out i allways think to myself "gawd......now i have to wait anouther week for the next one crying " its funny how on friday the 3 hours we are waiting for the report seems longer than the entire weeks wait confused

Vishnu is the ultimate deity in Hinduism, and is oft refered as the universe itself. He has (from what I've read) 10 different forms he chooses from called Avatars (Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, Gautama Buddha, and Kalki)

Other main deities (devas/devis)
Parvati (Mother to the gods and Ganesha)
Lakshmi (Goddess of Prosperity)
Sarasvati (Goddess of Knowledge)
Brahma (God of Creation)
Kali (Goddess of Time and Change [or Destruction and Death, depends])
Shiva (God of Destruction and Transformation [he's married to Kali])
Ganesha (God of Clearing Obstacles [also one of the more popular gods to worship in Hinduism])
Tara (Goddess of Great Wisdom [also known as Star])
Padmavati (Another name for Manasa Goddess of Snakes)
