Did you know the President of these United Gaia doesn't even have a Vice President? IT'S TRUE! I have seen it! And it is disgraceful! Our Commander in Chief has served half his term without even having a vice president! Who has been performing the VP's two duties? Who casts a vote in the event of a Senate deadlock and presides over and certifies the official vote count of the Gaia Electoral College? Certainly not Diedrich! He can't even count that high!

The D-Party, Gaia's only political party, has taken it upon ourselves to elect one. We want you, the people of Gaia, to nominate an NPC whom you feel would make an excellent Vice President for Diedrich. (Make sure you go see the form to nominate below)

First is the Preliminary Nominating Stage. This is the time where you should nominate VP candidates as members of the D-Party. (The D-Party is the only political party on Gaia, so don't worry, you are already a member). Directions on doing this are below. This will take place from October 1st-15th. COMPLETE

From October 16th to October 18th, members of the D-Party Election Committee will narrow the nominees down to three candidates. We suggest you take this time to discuss what candidates you think have the best chance in this thread.

Campaigning and Debate will occur during October 19th to November 3rd in this thread. This is the time to stick to your guns and argue which of the three chosen candidates you think would be the best option. Yelling at each other is an important part of the political process. You may do politicking, banner making, and anything you can think of to rally votes for your candidate of choice. Political ads, slander, debates, whatever you can think of to make your candidate win! THIS IS POLITICS, PEOPLE!

Election Day Voting will take place on November 4th. This is when you vote vote vote! The political process is a beautiful thing.

The votes will be counted on November 5th, and a winner will be declared.

Political Platform: He has over 40 years experience of being a rule-maker, a rule-follower, a rule-reformer and everything having to do with rules in any shape and form as a Dean. He follows through with justice and seems to be indiscriminate to who he wishes to dole out punishment. He also sees the importance of societal events that help promote community, and (safe, rule-abiding) fun (he knows how to have fun) such as opening up the Beach Event to the community hosted through his academy. He takes the time to revise the school budget and review processes as to be more cost effective and makes good use of the board meetings he attends (even over summer break). He has a somewhat amiable relationship with the paparazzi and knows how to work the press. It seems he believes in the importance of being green (regarding the environment). He believes in the importance of promoting healthy diet and exercise. He has shown concern for the general public.

Like any true candidate he has some skeletons that have been leaked through social media.

He is also a wizard.

Some may think Jack doesn't like Diedrich, but that's just probably all part of his tough guy act, and we could some use tough acting guys. He would help balance things out. But mostly it would be totally cute.

Like so many of us, she was born in Gaia, budding from the chub on her father's back. With simple beginnings, she knows what it is like to be one of millions who are more or less identical. She comes from a big family and isn't afraid to speak for herself. Her platform would be a good one.

Health: She is for it. Everyone should do a health.
Taxes: She will take some money from people (not too much).
National Security: She can lift over forty times my own body weight.
Social Issues: Everyone gets to kiss whoever they want, as long as it's OK.
Dogs: Big ones yes, little yapper dogs... we'll see.

thanks! I feel like this layout is my classiest, but it has a severe lack of goofy Diedrich pics.
