meh. you are technically right. 03 and 04 are the eldest. it's a lot like people how I see it. we have people that eventually turn into old people. as do we have young gaians that eventually become veterans on this site. I try to keep it at least 5-6 years away from today's gaia. 5-6 years or older is a looooooong time. and things are certainly different from then to now. this thread is also for veterans. but most certainly for oldbie's. wink

I'm just surprised cause I joined up in 06 and never have felt/been treated like an oldbie. But then again, I'm not mega rich and don't actually spend that much time on the site. All I really do is post occasionally and make avatars.

The longer Gaia goes on the more skewed the perception of 'oldbie' will become.

As an 06'er, though, I remember when the word 'Oldbie' meant '03 or early '04 and carried a lot of weight... so I wouldn;t call myself an oldbie.

Yet maybe that now makes me an oldbie? *chuckle*

Ditto to this. As an '06er, I'm a middle..bie...not old!
But my hand remembers a time before the Shops had storefronts, and when you hovered the cursor over the Shops tab, a drop down list of all the existing shops would appear. I still do that from time to time and am confused why I can't see the shop name I am looking for. ><
