Many of us have been on Gaia for so long, we have to have some sort of lore.
Whether it be super popular lore or lore between you and users who've long since logged in...what is it?

I'll start with mine.

I was notorious in Barton Town for Rp's that were all ((ooc)) chats, no actual RP's, and I would flame other threads for not letting me join their RP's because I had bad grammar, mary-sue characters, or because I was known for flaming LOL.

I did recently find that ancient thread and all the users I would "rp" with haven't logged in since 09.
I wonder if they remember me and my tantrums or am I the only one left to live in the memories.

I guess the lore for me would be bouncing back and fourth between Barton Town, and the Exchange / Charity and Questing Subforum. Basically, I would 'live' in one and make friends. Then, those friends would leave Gaia and disappear and I would move to the other. This happened over and over and is pretty much still happening. With my charity thread just being the newest installment of my bouncing around.

Actually, right now I'm trying to be in both places at the same time and it's .... not really going well.... sweatdrop

Never felt the need to take that potion to go back. Also with the item skins you can switch (which helps for when I want to do cosplays).

My lore would be that I lived somewhere in Isle De Gambino or Barton Town, and kind of spent time between both places. I got my trading license and occasionally sold rare items in my shop, and even joined an active guild focused on a band I like for a while there.

I was briefly turned into a zombie during a pandemic, but fortunately was able to restore myself back to normal with a vial of healing goo. I bore witness to a pumpkin guy and a robot bunnyman who gave me gifts each year. Despite not liking Johnny K. Gambino, I became a fervent supporter of his cause versus the Von Helson sisters. I thought his son, Gino, was kind of cool as he grew up and I shipped him with Sasha.

I was an avid fisherman for a time, often going to Durem Reclamation Facility. I was something of a jigsaw puzzle aficionado. I had a house, though I forget just where that had been located right now. I spent some time in town and zOMG, but ultimately decided I was more interested in the static portion of Gaia.

In the 2010's, I was able to complete a lot of my old, long-standing item quests. But not all of them. I had pretty much every Adventure Time item when those were a thing, but ultimately decided to sell them all off for profit to get the stuff I wanted most.

I am dating Gaia-tan, as well as the star of All My Gaians, Adriana. Yes, they are cool with it. XD

Years ago I became a mostly accomplished angelic being, but these days usually prefer to go about my business incognito. I never did earn my halo, but nobody's perfect. More recently, I am sporting water-related accessories and keeping watch over Gaia, because I still care about the land and its citizens greatly.

My lore was making cringy school based Role Plays for me and my weeb friends to do. We has some good times, improved our writing skills, and increased our cringe aura by about 9000%

Seriously, I remember the good old times when the forums would crash on here because THOUSANDS of users were dogpiling the server.

That and being a beta tester for zOmg! I remember the early days of it, and had such a good time when the game was released for all of Gaia to enjoy! I had so many friends on here back then, and we all enjoyed crusading thru the Zen Gardens, or Gold Beach.

Basically, like the rest of you, the nostalgia I feel is the reason I return to this husk of a website every few months, make a new avatar, post on the forums, and try to remember the good/cringe times of my early teen years.

I guess you could say my lore was "extremely passionate GCDer and Gaian". I made some threads I could say was famous—a thread to ship two item NPCs, from back when ship threads were still a thing, and a big ol' Site Feedback thread-list asking for more male- and masc-aligned items—and I got my original account nuked for posting zOMG! leaks that I didn't know were leaks until it was too late (RIP "Capsule Master Pen", you and all your items are still missed).

Former demon weaponmaster gone AWOL from my commander's army, hijacking my dead dad's old airship and casimir tree to escape the life of a conscript and living free on the surface! I've got a little remote island some number of miles north of Isle de Gambino and have made my presence there as both a trade in the Marketplace and a menace/vagrant, depending on your disposition of me. Succubus on my dad's side, salamander-imp on my mother's. Basically means I burn my relationships as quickly as I make them. sweatdrop

I'm basically a mercenary with a penchant for shiny items and a thirst for combat easily sated.

At least, that's the persona of the redheaded heterochromia-bearing demoness.

The other avatar is the brunette with the lopsided horns. For all intents and purposes a selfsona of sorts to be Myself But Cooler/Cuter/Hottter/More Masc(?!!). Real "I got isekai'd into a fantasy world as a powerful sorceress?!" kind of vibe. Outside world's too dogshit to care about cringe right now.

I just miss being in Towns 1 and original Rally when there was plenty of friends to make. I still have a couple of friends on my friends list that haven't logged in since 2009. The games were fun too, I can't wait for them to revive Jigsaw.

I would tell them some form of "ew, I'm 13", and when they persisted I would inform them that their behaviour is illegal and they were doing something against the rules and I would send their messages to the police and to the mods and they would get banned and possibly go to jail if they didn't give me all of their gold and valuable items.

It never failed. And thats how I made my Gaia fortune.

This is my account that I specifically made for the Fishing Game in 2017 or so.
I did compete with it for Trophies, Angelic Rod and rare Bass'ken Fishing Masks.

The Character of Sharky has a long Story...

Until that one glorious day, when she had the vision of the Holy Bass'terd that told her to start a cult in his name, so he shall bring fortunes to the Bass'ken lake. Ever since that moment, Sharky was invested to make people believe in the Holy Bass'terd..."

I created a running Gag about a Cult of the holy Bass'terd that was known throughout the whole Fishing Community. And many played a long. They do, to this day.
