For sure more cybernetic stuff... especially stuff that isn't clunky or cheesy looking (i.e. dated templates and color schemes)

I'd love to see some Robotech items, maybe some more prosthetic gear type steampunk items... some Boilerplate-esque stuff would be kind of cool

ALSO some of the classic robots. Metropolis, Forbidden Planet, The Day the Earth Stood Still, etc...

Another robot themed item (which I know would never be considered) is maybe the yggdroid from Etrian Odyssey 3, as they look kinda mech-ish.

Ugh, yeees! I'd love an Yggdroid based item! It could be based on Olympia if anything. Tbh, I'd just love more EO items, but like you said it'd never happen during normal circumstances.

There are a few from Gaia's earlier days but they're mostly based off of the Michael bay designs (ech). There are a bajillion sources to be found on the tfwiki in terms of inspiration for designs.
Gimme cool robot leg mods and arm mods with motion. I'm a sucker for giving my avi arm and leg mods so it looks like they're moving and not just standing stock still.
I'd love for items with a storyline involving mechas/sapient mechas.

alot of the legs, even if they're sci-fi inspired are too skinny

I'd like to see some more robotic stuff like the Cast race from Phantasy Star Online. Not the "ALMAO we're humans now" from PSO2, but the ones from the original on the Dreamcast, even the GCN and PC PSOBB release. Gem eyes, metal robotic skin and hair, ect.

There's also the more cutesy cartoonish direction with Medabots styled robot items they could do that would be kinda nice. Medabots had some neat robots for both male and female characters. Especially some of the newer ones introduced some cool stuff. Think there's been several "toy robots" series over the past few years that fall into a similar style.

And I guess more Mecha Masume stuff would be nice. I want some straight up Symphonygear, Vivid Red, Cosmicbreak, Infinite Stratos, Busou Shinki, and Sky Girls robotic frame kinda stuff.

I sadly find a lot of items that could potentially be used to replicate some of this stuff not to play all that nicely with each other with layering and all. ;c

Yes
More skins, leg bases like wheels or tracks, some mechanical torso poses... the usual robot stuffs.
Battle Angel would be cool. Brainiac. R2D2 or BB8.
Metallic colors. And stuff to match Nano-C and other items like it.
