As for his intentions for the animated under his control, he was just trying to use them to
take over the world as far as I'm concerned.

My personal goal is a fic in which he successfully turns the Mechlab Bot into an Animated, and the thing promptly turns on him anyway, because it -can-.

The Animated were apparently created by the energy that was released when Johnny Gambino and Gino, who'd been fused into one being, split apart again. X initiated the split, but I doubt he really knew that's what would happen. The energy release is also what made the Zurg notice Gaia.

So, pretty much, X and Zhivago more or less are the reason behind the majority of stuff in Gaia, if you think about it.

(They should totally team up to be the ultimate trio of evil, but Zhi doesn't really like humans that much)

Zhivago hasn't really been behind anything at all, has he? I mean, he was working for Vladdie most of the time. And now he's doing nothing that we know of. (It's not entirely confirmed that's him in the "house on the hill"; if it is, he's doing nothing but sitting around at home and siccing his guard dogs on people who get too close; if it's not him, he's not doing anything at all that we even know about!)

Well, okay, that is true, sometimes I forget that he's old Vlad's b***h manservant instead of doing it all because he wants to. He did shoot Ian and Gambino, and help plan a vampire war though, so that has to count as something, right? Zhivago just wants to get those damn kids off his lawn, as if those rogue cows weren't bothersome enough. Plus, he gets harassed by creepycrawly garlic whenever he wants to go for a walk. It sucks to be Zhivago. o Ao

See, all supervillains need hugs. They all show little bouts of humanity at times. Doc Ock trying to cure his ex-fiance of AIDS, Vulture stealing money for surgery for his grandson, hell, even Joker showed some honest-to-goodness love for Harley when he became ruler of the universe and tried to destroy it, he turned her into a star so she would get "a front-row seat for Armageddon".

... Don't mind me, just showing some supervillain psychology...

And I like to blame everything on Zhivago.
