Ohhh What if the rest of the deities promote beauty and being cute and attractive and Nyx is there to end the rein of terror of appealing to certain looks. Nyx is bringing about a revolution, acceptance for all no matter how funny lookin' they are.

EB would have been a revolutionary leader, but his focus was too narrow. He knew Santa would cure him eventually and he be back to being praised and adored for his cuteness. Hence why he hid with Santa and Jack despite the bad blood between him and Jack.
