It is kind of cute, lol. I debated about picking one up but I'll wait and see if they drop in price first. It's only the first day so I'm reluctant to buy most of the items I want since they're still expensive.

So far the only NPC non-doll item found is Detective Zoom. Are they going to repeat what they did with Double Rainbow and only give the main and one random NPC (Lisa and Jittery Jill) an item?
