I feel like what Gaia is offering is analogous to having someone dress up as Santa Claus and getting pictures taken with them. At the end of the day, it's just some random person as a fictional character whose lap you're sitting on.

Since the start of Gaia everything has been the staff members interpretation of the characters.
From the Trial of Ian to the Tower killing the Von Helson twins to Gambinos madness.

And I see a lot of teens in the mall sitting on Santa's lap.

It would make sense if the ticket was any character for the RIG and a thread. But I can't image spending huge amounts of money just to get a chance to talk to a character.
And this doesn't seem like a 5 dollar "sit on Santa" type, the odds of the ticket could possibly be a lot of money.

I think that anyone who ends of redeeming the Mint Ticket will know the reality behind their NPC date. I guess those who do end up redeeming them will be happy with what they're getting and I guess that's all that matters, though, I still would have preferred if Gaia beefed up the reward for the Mint Ticket for the sake of those who redeem it - maybe with some custom art or something more on Gaia's efforts. I think the reward is a little skimpy compared to the other tickets which come with some sort of permanency in terms of custom-items, custom-recolours, or custom-art.
