New "perks and features" don't really matter to me. It's different supporting a small mod team to now supporting an online gameification interactive company...

I tried some surveys and got a few but most surveys don't seem to work.

What do you do to get gaia cash?

If you go to the Free Gaia Cash money tree, do only the offers for 2 Gaia cash. They add up. Also, winning the Cash Runway helps, although I expect most of us rarely win that.

I spend mine in the shops whenever anything comes up that I like.

talk2hand Real money is time, sweat and life. I cannot use it for anything I cannot hold or eat. I have stash of GC that I got back when they gave real gains for clicking. I happily use this on cash items that have some real importance. My last was the invisibility cloak. I've tried to gain more through the "marketing survey" system. I soon realized that if I didn't spend real money to join something. I was soon dropped. A half hour of wasted time is a huge loss of platinum and absolutely no fun. So what I have is all I'll get.

I spent quite a bit on gaia cash last year on Black Friday sales, just buying items and reselling them months later yum_puddi

Then I stopped because I was busy IRL and couldn't go online as much as I wanted. Right now I'm a $5 Angel subscriber because I have the extra money and not getting ads is worth it, but that can change in the future.

Hoo boy. I try not to get into an impulse buying spree because my paycheck whittles down to nothing really quick.

Gaia's amazing sponsoring events and ads have pretty much stopped since the early 2000 during its golden years all the way up to when zOMG! was shut down for the first time.

I just buy it when I want some... I think the last time I bought Gaia Cash was two or so years ago? used to buy it a lot more often when I was more active on this site (which was about 6 years ago... eeep)... nowadays the thought to buy Gaia Cash doesn't pop in my mind at all. this thread sort of inspired me to look to see what's in the Cash Shop now.. hhhm... might buy some cash now.... surprised

i got gcash from plat over the years and freebie gcash around 500 ,but nothing in gcash shop's have interested me yet

Yeah the GC offers never seem to work. I used to buy those little redeemable cards but now that they don't EXIST, I don't really trust gaia with my personal info.

Also there's very little in the shops that interest me and just seem way too expensive for colored pixels. I have nothing against people who do put in a pretty penny into this site. It's just not for me.

I have the $5 subscription and Occasionally buy $5 or $10 more if I can. That's all I can afford. sweatdrop
