Welcome to the Color Scheme Showcase, exploring a small, neglected, or up-and-coming color scheme every week! This thread focuses on discussion and is not a thread for rating avatars.
Checkout out these threads for many of the different color schemes on Gaia: Color Scheme Guide Compilation Thread, Shades of Blue, Unguided Color Schemes, and List of Color Schemes.
See a scheme you think should be featured? Checkout out our Suggestion Thread. The list of current suggestions in on the first page and the next week's scheme gets rolled from the list.
Spoons:
-What do you think about this week's scheme?
-Have you noticed a particular type of item it is usually used on?
-Did you know about this scheme before this week?
-Do you know any interesting history behind the scheme?
-What items do you think would be good in this palette?
-Any Kindred you think might look interesting?
-Anything else you can think about involving this scheme?
Please remember posts should include content which adds to the discussion of the thread:
-You should NOT post just your avatar or mock, at least something, substantial, written must be included
-Writing "I like/dislike this scheme" does not add to the discussion but "I like/dislike this scheme because -insert a reason here-" does
-Posting purely negative things that insult those who may like a scheme are highly looked down upon. "All people who like a scheme are dumb" does not add anything to discussion and insults others
-Feel free to bring up things you think are interesting in relation to the week's scheme(s). You could even post relating the scheme to real life (ladykayra has personally seen Alleycat in RL and it was cool)
Some additional information:
-New schemes are generally posted on Mondays between 10AM and 12PM PT.
-The next week's scheme is usually rolled for ahead of time in the Suggestion Thread but should not be discussed until it's week.
-Continued discussion of the previous week's scheme(s) are valid.
-Here is a post on hosting images for the showcase
