Dude: I'm 25. I know this song/dance since I was a kid. I tried getting Con People to dance to it: NO ONE KNEW! crying I was the only one who knew! But EVERYONE could do the Chacha Slide and the Macarena. stare

Hey Macarena♫. That song played at my friends wedding which was around 2yrs ago & I was the only one that knew all the dance moves other than one other person but then others joined us.

I know the Electric Slide/Boogie, Macarena(which I learned back in school, it was a song that we had an assembly with that showed us how to do it) the Cupid shuffle, the one that tells you all the dance moves (1 hop this time, right foot let's stomp, etc), & other stuff..

One of these days I'd like to learn something that they'd do in the days of Jane Austin's books that were turned into movies because those dances are so beautiful. Plus glory for the king as there were dukes, queens, etc during the time period of her books.

You're thinking of Cha-Cha Slide.
I learned Macarena same time I learned Electric Boogie in Elementary School.
Cha-Cha Slide was more recent, like early 2000s and Cupid Shuffle I learned last year (2012) or 2011.
