Servers with port 843 open == game servers??

I've always been wondering what those servers are, the ones with pretty much only port 843 open, and maybe an http or squid proxy too.

Haha I was looking at open ports on Gaia servers and saw that port 843 was open on a lot of them that didn't seem to have anything else open XD I had no idea what it was, so I googled it, and it said something about being used by SWF and flash games, so I assumed it was a game server or something o:

Also, really bad D: After you gave me all of that super good advice and stuff, the entire hard drive of that computer went kapoot. I was actually downloading CS6 again today, and trying to find your old emails to get the software that you recommended and the files you gave me haha. Things have been good. Took a week off to Costa Rica, and came back all ready to get into stuff here. We've been pushing ahead on Towns, and moving Rally and VH over to the new format. Also a lot of game stuff. Let me know if you need me to resend the info.

Hello everyone!

Questions? I might have one.

In the old Towns, you can lower the quality on the screen to make it less lag for users with old computers or lower processors. But, in the new Towns, there is no such thing to do that. Will there be something implemented in the new Towns?

I don't plan on putting any buttons in for it, and I'm not sure it helps much. If you really want it, it is on the right click menu.

I noticed that the gold count gets forced to the side, if you have a high gold count amount. Also, will there be adding commas on it too?

I hadn't thought about it, but it isn't a big deal to do so. I just wrote it on my checklist.

So I have some questions that, I truly would love to have answered today.

When will the event officially start?

When do we get to go trick or treating throughout the shops?

When will the CrosStitch contest winners be announced and the items made available?

1) We're shooting for later this week.
2) Trick or Treating will start when the main event starts too. The NPCs have been decked out early this year though so if you haven't seen them already, be sure to go take a look.

My question is this: Will there be any IRL Gaia events in Toronto or Ottawa, or any area like that In Canada this year? I really want to attend a Gaia event but I'm never able to because I don't live in America.

Reposting because I fell too far behind. I also want to know if the Canadian Gaia lovers will ever get a store that is series themed (like the Neko store that only Americans get get into cry )

How Much Money Does The Gaia Staff Get? o;

There isn't one answer as different poeple are paid different rates. If you search how much a programmer would make, then the average programmer on Gaia would be earning about the same. Except for Narumi, I heard he earns waaaay more than anybody else. biggrin

I have two small questions.

I have been begging and begging for weeks now for a long straight black hair. And with this new rig that came out you made white hair exactly in such a way. I can't help but feel a bit mocked. Is there any way possible you guys can work on such black hair?

Also on a second note a few of my friends and I have been on this topic as well. There have been more and more items being put out there for women and the male items that are being so rarely introduced aren't as well designed or thought out as the female ones. There have also been far too much cutesy items. Not saying I don't mind being cute once in a while but I would like to look like my actual gender you know?

Please be kind enough to answer these two questions. Its all i ask out of gaia.
