Beary Scary & SDPlus #642 Ursula: I can already tell who did this item. I just wished they didn't go halfway with inclusion of a popular color scheme into the item. Heck, it should have just used whatever colors the artist thought were best. In the end, this is another one that does deserve being a bigger item reward.

actually i picked independence because after going through a bunch of color variations i liked it best. :3c so yes. i did pick what i thought was best.

Edit: One thing bugs me is the ears in wereyena don't look like they sit on the face correctly. They are far to close to the eyes and the far ear should be placed behind the cheek not over it.

Wereyena & SDPlus #641 Loel: The same problem I just complained about with the oniki doll is prevailant here. I shouldn't need to get the doll just to have the skin that matches the arm mod. Other than that, I like most of Wereyena. The colors and poses just fit the idea it is trying to represent. That is until I get to the legs.The leg mod posed way too low. It gives avatars an unnaturally sized stomache, a belly button that is way too high, and two little stumps to call legs.

Maybe I'm too idealistic or something, but I think the stumpy leg thing was done on purpose.

Compared to other animals, hyenas have very short hind legs and their entire bodies slump low towards the back of their bodies. It's especially noticeable on striped hyenas, but spotted hyenas (like Loel) also look like that.

If that explanation doesn't suit you, you can equip a long shirt and just say he likes to make his pants sag lol
You can combine it with some underwear poses for that. Or you can equip the belt pose from Under the Stars, it looks very good!

Hospi, it isn't a question of being idealistic. Rather, it is just a matter of opinions based on our own personal reasoning. You bring up some very good points, especially when you get into the zoology of the animal in question. The legs being short could most definitely be a way to properly anthropomorphize the item to better match what it is based off of.

And yes, you are also right in that there are ways for me to hide the problems that I see in the item. There are definitely ways to make it less odd. But it still won't change my opinion that I find the leg mod to be the weakest part of this item. And that is perfectly OK. You can like it and I can unlike it and both are completely acceptable. :3
