2018 Caroling, 12 Days, & Event Items Guide Thread

YUUUUP, that's my problem, too. A big chunk of my invo has only been used for Runway avis, so whenever I try to sell/donate anything, I'm like, "WAIT, I used this for a Runway entry once! What if I'll need it again?!"

Same thing with colors I know I'll never really use but who knows maybe Ill need it for something lol -stares at all the yellow and pink stuff, I really dislike pink-
Oh and owning multiple copies of an item too, like what if i need to sell one for extra gold or need more than one copy for something. I really don't need 6 copies of winter polar tear but what if I wanna wear the whole set

None of these freebies are going to be good for scenics, so meh.

But I'm still trudging through caroling because I also am trying to collect all the Paw items... so yeah. Trick or Treating/Caroling is so tedious. Worst parts of events for me.

Wow.... just wow.... just moved around a few pixels huh Gaia? Yet another sign that this event will be thrown together like the Halloween one was since they are so busy with that server migration. On a better note, I like this years color scheme better than last years.
Edit: I'd love to see this set in a reindeer theme with maybe festive as the color scheme?

Oh goodness, I was wondering why the caroling items looked so familiar LOL
I'm not complaining too much because the color is right up my taste! I haven't done the caroling thing for a few years because I just wasn't into the outfits

The 12 days of christmas items however, it's a little disappointing but at least now they can't do it in the future

I agree with what others have said about this year's caroling set being very similar to the last one we got.

However, I love the new set so much more! The colours, bear theme (those puns!), everything. emotion_bigheart For me they're much nicer than last year's and I can see myself getting a lot more use out of them outside of Christmas.

Oof, no wonder something smelt fishy when I saw them. As cute as the new set may be, you can clearly see how little effort they've been putting in the event so far, and this is just the artists' work, who shouldn't have seen their work affected by the server migration, so I'm sure the part of the staff that had to invest time in it didn't work much in the event, so it may be just a "remake" of last year's event or something really small and simple, probably boring and repetitive. I have no hopes for what's coming honestly sweatdrop

You know I was thinking the same thing. If the artist were affected in this migration but I wasn't sure on the answer so I didnt want to say anything and make it seem like I was complaining more than I already have lol. If this is true though, I'm not only sad for this event but for our future events....

If you use agape it gets rid of apart of the gradient. in this case the hat cut out the gradient

I mean, I know you're busy and all that jazz with what Gaia is going through but geez.... I?m really disappointed. Not sure I'm gonna carol at all for this one. :

While I can't say I'm exactly happy with the recolors, I do hope that this means that they're putting more effort and focus into catching up all the queues instead of always having to make new New NEW items every day.

I'm fine with that.

The team is struggling.

I'm ok with a few events suffering a bit if that means they catch up.

They need to, they desperately need to.

Fingers crossed that 2019 is astoundingly kind to gaia.
