"Ah, I see," she nodded. "Well, I'll be preparing your order. It'll be just a few minutes." She left the room, muttering, "Rice...It can't be that hard, can it?"
When she reappeared, she gave Shin a large glass of water with crushed ice. "I've put your rice on. It should be ready soon," she said.
"So I take it that you are a Buddhist, as well. Are you a monk too, like your father?"

Shin let out a loud laugh.
"Oh no, Therevaden life is not for me. I chose Mahayana because i can "go where the wind takes me". I like this way of life because there is more freedom. CARPE DIEM!!!" Shin said enthusiastically. " I wanted to choose my own path, and decide where i would like to end up."

Shin then took small sips of his water. " Thank you for the water ma'am"

[Alkario]

Alk pulled a cold root beer from the fridge and placed it on the counter. Never breaking concetration or handling of his game. "This good?"

She sighed gratefully. "Yes, thank you," she said. "Bless you." Elizabeth reached out to the can of root beer, but froze when she heard a light click in the next room. Her arm dropped back to her side, and her body positively drooped. "The rice is ready. Excuse me for a moment..." she trudged to the kitchen, muttering "I think I put in too much water..."
After a minute, she came out of the kitchen again, carrying a black-and-red lacquered tray, which had a napkin, a chopstick rest, and an intimidatingly large bowl of rice on it. She set it on the counter, and sighed again dramatically, this time in relieved anticipation.
"Root beer..." she moaned, reaching for the can of soda like a zombie that smells flesh.

Alk continued on with his game. Seeing the large bowl of rice from the corner of his eye. "Hmm?" He turned his head to confirm what he thought he saw. "whoa...that's alot of rice"

[Mayu ver]

A man slowly walks into the cafe, not knowing what it offers him but he is indeed thirsty and hungry. Once inside, he looked around to see where he can find a open seat. Moments later, he found one and quickly went to the open seat.

"Yeah. I dunno, the customer Shin wanted rice, but I'm not sure if he left or what..." Elizabeth trailed off in confusion.
She heard footsteps, and turned toward the door, expecting one of her colleagues. However, it was evidently a new customer, so she greeted him more formally. "Hello, welcome to Strawberry Bliss. What would you like to request?" It was a tad awkward and vague, but then again, she was only a gardener. She glanced at the unresponding Alk, hoping the bartender would take over.

[Ugh, I hate it when that happens. Mine seems to be about the connection, though. Some days it won't connect to some random site, like Tektek or something, while when I go around Gaia, it's perfectly fine. Teh st00pid thing.

(...your the gardener? i thought you were the co owner in charge of cupcakes or something XD )

Alk figured it was time to stop playing and actualy do some work. So he shut off his gameboy and slid it into his pocket. His arms stretch back as he looked about the area for something that needed cleaning. Perhapes the counter could use a wipe down. He thought to himself. Then he grabed a moist cloth and started wipping up the bar area.

Elizabeth yawned, looking around the room. She wondered where everyone had gone, and felt a bit dejected. Then she spotted the can of root beer Alk had left on the counter for her, and her eyes brightened. Her posture straightened as she again reached for the soda can, hands shaking in anticipation.
"Yes..." she whispered, eyes fervent and alight with fire. "Yes..."
[Ooc: Bwaha.]

Shin opens his eyes, stretches and then yawns. He looks around, and sees a bowl of rice in front of him. He also notices that he is still in his corner.

"Oh man", he says rubbing his head, " I must have been really tired to just sleep this long".

His stomach rumbles, and he begins to eat his rice cold as if they were rice balls.

Elizabeth froze midway to her root beer. She turned around slowly, half in shock and half because of her strong longing for her root beer. She sighted Shin patting the cold rice into neat balls and eating them.
"...Salt?" she said weakly, holding up a glass container from a nearby table.
