Welcome to Gaia! ::

He looked up at Ristar for a moment as he listened to her. Blinking a few times before taking a drink from his glass. Well at any rate it was good to be able to stop and rest for a moment. Even if there were more cobwebs than people in the establishment.

"Me?" He tried to think of the last time they had spoke. He couldn't, as a matter of fact he couldn't recall alot of things about this place. He spent so much time here yet he could not remember a single memory at the time. Finding that very odd he made a mental note to look into it.

Moving to a nearby table he sat down putting his boots on the table. "Oh just the usual. Mostly contract killings. Bounty hunting. That sort of thing. I'm on a job right now as a matter of fact. Just happened to be in the area."

That reminded him. He felt around his shirt checking to make sure that the item he had procured was still there. With a measured sigh of relief he let go and rested his hands on his chest looking over at Sislana. "Busy? Well someone has a strong grasp on vocabulary these days. I would think we've all been busy. Hence why this place is a dust pile. "

Her sister's one word answer had a fiery brow lifting slightly. She sent the woman a questioning look, only to catch sight of the expression on her siblings face. Ristar knew that look very well, having seen it on more than one occasion. Sislana was lost within her own head again. The redhead was tempted to throw something at her sibling to snap her out of it, but left it alone. Sis had far more to dwell on at the moment than she did, so she let her be and watched Havoc stroll away and speak up in response.

"Is that so? Sounds like you have led an exciting life, my dear." She replied, sliding off the bar top to follow him. He might as well get use to her stalking him like a shadow while he was there. It had been FOREVER since she had had the chance to talk to him, and she wasn't going to miss a second of it. No matter how uncomfortable it made him.

"Hey, lay off of her. It's not every day a ghost from your past shows up out of the evening mists." Ri snapped in defense of her sibling. The other woman had every right to look lost and speak in one word sentences. Hell, if the fiery woman had been in her sister's place, she probably would be just as out of it as Sis was. Of course, she also would be screaming and yelling by now, but that was more a personal trait than one shared between the siblings.

His harsh words snapped her back to reality, leaving her head lifting as she turned her gaze to him, a brow rising. Killing contracts, bounty hunting, what was he? A sword for hire? Watching him curiously for a moment the woman narrowed her eyes at his statement to her, a bubble of anger beginning to form deep within her. What, he was able to leave for all of these years and then come back, act as if nothing had happened, and be a pompous jerk? No. That was not alright. Drawing in a measured breath the woman glanced sideways at her sister to acknowledge her words, and then back at Havoc. It was time she stood up for herself. Though she was not the one with the quick temper, she could become just as hot as her older sibling. Sislana had spent many years controlling her temper, learning how to reign it in, to cool the fire that boiled inside. Havoc was poking the fire, though, adding kindling to it with every word that he spoke.

”Not all of us have the leisure of just vanishing when we wish, Malhavoc. Some of us actually stick to our obligations, and we do not just vanish away from them as if nothing else mattered.” Her cheeks were turning red, though it was not with embaressment, it was with the emotions that she had been holding back for so long. How dare he! Havoc had no idea what had gone on his absence, how much hurt the patrons of this establishment had felt. ”You waltz back in here, stick your nose up to some dust? As if you are better than anyone else here? Havoc, you are not better than a single person here! We have always been equals, and there was a time that you recognized that. Yes. Busy. That is what I have been. I have been cleaning up messes that you left behind! Your daughter, remember her? The one that you left behind like a rotten sack of potatoes, the one that you ******** up when you walked away from her. God, you are so selfish!” Perhaps she was rambling at this point, but she was heated at the man sitting there with his boots on the table as if he owned the place.

Without so much as a second thought the woman moved towards the man, her hands quickly sweeping his feet off the table. ”If you have such a problem with the state of this place, do something about it! Do not use my tables as your personal footstool. You are right, we have all been busy, but at least we have not vanished away from the ones we claimed to love! Forgive us, your highness, if our building is not up to your perfect standards, you pompous a*****e! If you do not like it then there is the door!” With a heaving chest she thrust her finger towards the door, staring at the man before her. There was just something about him that ignited such passion deep within her.

((I would have to agree with him. She has always been a little on the timid side. But, with her sister covering all the dramatic moments, it was hard for her not to be. *Grins* I can only imagine, honey. I'm glad she has found her voice. biggrin ))
The drow smirked before clapping slowly for a few moments. Slowly he moved his feet from the table sitting up straight in his chair. His violet eyes staring at her as he slowly stood up. "It's good to see that you still have some sort of fire left in you Sislana. When I saw you, you seemed a husk of your former self."

He looked over at Ristar for a moment his arms crossing over his chest "Oh please. I don't see you dazed and stumbling around." He turned on Sislana again narrowing his eyes. As he moved around the table. "I abandoned no one. She is perfectly capable of taking care of herself as are the rest of you. I am not required to be here to baby sit tye lot of you."
(( Me too. Also I think being an antagonist is fun))

The sound of her sister speaking lured Ri's starry eyes from Havoc to the other woman. What she heard had shock racing over her elegant features. What the hell?! For a moment, all she could do was sit there and gape. Was she really seeing this? Wasn't she normally the aggressive one while her sister stayed cool and calm? Had they switched bodies or something? Checking herself, she found her curvy form as it always was. So, this was actually happening...Not sure what to think, she just watched the pair face off and lifted a brow when Havoc spoke to her.

"Have I ever done that, though? Besides, I wasn't in love with you and shared a family with you." The fiery woman tossed back, her voice losing it's happy tone. It seemed the past was still where she had left it. Behind her. Leaning back in her chair, Ristar rocked on the outside legs and waited for her turn to speak again. She wasn't about to get in between these two if her sister was playing the role of aggressor. She had been shot playing mediator before, and she would be damned if she would have it happen again.

Havoc's last words had her flinching a bit. Oh, that was not going to go down well. Folding her arms over her chest, she relaxed and waited for her siblings response. It was bound to be as hot headed as her own would have been, and it was kind of nice to see Sislana speak up. She had always been the one to just shy away and let things happen around her. It was a nice change of pace from what they were all use to.

Had he really just said that? Was he that stupid? Her mouth hung open for a moment, listening to the words he was speaking before she scoffed, shaking her head furiously. "You could not babysit anyone if your life depended on it, Havoc! All you do is leave! Things start to get rough and you leave. You are a coward. Your child needed you, and you turned and when the other way! You are not a babysitter when it comes to your flesh and blood, though I guess I cannot even call you her father at this point. Did you know that her children are dead? Her brow shot up as she stared at him, her eyes racing across his face. The next words were something she had dared not speak to Ristar earlier, and saying them meant she was admitting them to herself. "Slaughtered at her own hand, because she could not bare the thought of raising them on her own. Now, does that sound like someone who is capable of taking care of themselves? Someone that would murder their own children, and not even think twice of it? No one wanted you as a sitter, Havoc, all they wanted you to do was stand up and be a man for once. Do not dare stand here and act all high and mighty when it is you who turned your back on everyone. Screw you, Havoc." Her body was shaking, not used to voicing the anger that was now rushing through her as if it had replaced her blood.

How could he possibly think that they had needed him to babysit them? Had they come across as that weak when last he saw them? Shaking her head some the woman reeled her gaze to her sister, a frown tinting her lips. Did Ristar think the same? That they had needed to be watched over like a group of scared hens? Growling lightly she turned her gaze back to Havoc, her eyes narrowing once more. "You are a coward, Havoc. You leave behind the people you claim to love as if they mean nothing. You abandoned her, whether you want to admit it or not, you selfish b*****d. You take the hearts of the ones that love you, rip it from their chest, and crush them beneath your dark feet. I used to think that you were more than your race, but I am coming to realize you are just as bad as the rest of them. How could one love you?"

"Perhaps our daughter is the weak one then. You may call me whatever names you see fit Sislana but I've never pretended to be anything other than what I am. " His voice never rose an octave about the calmness he had entered the room with. He pursed his lips together in thought as he stared at her for a moment. He moved his hands out palms up in front of him. A gesture of surrender "Perhaps if you feel so strongly about my cowardly ways. You should do something about it?"

He stood deathly still staring holes into her for while his body and demeanor showed calmness his eyes were glowing dangerously. He cared very much for his children, more than any drow normally would. For her to accuse him of such things was beyond acceptable and they would be answered for. He glanced at Ristar to see what she was doing before focusing back on Sislana again.

He really couldn't remember all that had transpired between them but he'd be damn ed if he would sit here and be insulted by her.

As Sislana continued her rant, Ristar played the silent role and just watched. She had no speaking parts in this play, and she was more than okay with that. The pair obviously had things they needed to hash out. Her staying out of it was for the best. Of course, that was before her sister admitted who had taken her grandchildren away. This had her gaping in shock and nearly following to the floor as she lost control of her chair. She righted herself quickly and stood so that she was standing between the pair.

Ri opened her mouth to say something, anything, but was shut up when Havoc spoke up in response. Had he just said that?! Instinct had her wanting to yell at him as well, but it wasn't her place. Her sibling was doing enough yelling for the both of them. Instead, she glared at the man she had once known and made sure to keep herself close enough to intervene if need be. The way her sister was going, and the way Havoc was standing, things were bound to go south very soon.

"Alright you two, knock it off. All of this fighting isn't solving anything!" She called out, trying to put her voice over theirs. She had to be heard before someone decided to hit someone else. Turning to her sister, Ristar reached out and took her sister's hands gently into her own. It was her way of showing support, and to try and calm the other woman down.

"Sislana, while I won't deny what has happened to be anything less than horrendous for your family, screaming at Havoc won't change what has already come to pass. He obviously isn't like he was in the past, and we can't fault him for it. We are all different now, and the only way we can continue to live is to embrace it." She started, squeezing her sister's hands gently before turning on Havoc. The warmth she had for her sibling turned deadly cold as she looked over the man. Yeah, they had all changed, though some not for the better.

"As for you, Malhavoc, you should watch how you speak to us. We all might have grown over the years, but that doesn't give you the right to act as you are. Or have you forgotten that you aren't the only one with abilities that outmatch your average human?" As she spoke, she released one of Sislana's hands to snap her fingers. Violet flames jumped to life and swirled through her fingers as she watched him, the glowing light illuminating her ethereal features.

"I know you care about your prodginey as much as Sislana does, so try and show some of it now and drop the aggression. Both of you." As Ri finished, she looked back to her sister and gave her a look that said to drop it. If they didn't, well, she would just put them both in the corner and be done with it all. Being the older sibling was a job she was realizing she would never grow out of.
