Mohan paused as Saria asked about the status of some of their friends. He glanced up to her, wondering how much she remembered.

"Yuni, Kai, and Kira are well, to my knowledge." Mohan said softly. "They haven't been around in some time. Fray... I, well.." He paused, not sure how to explain.

"I took her away, to my lab in the mountains." He hoped Saria wouldn't press the issue. Fray was no longer taking up space in the lab and that's what was important. It also explained why Mohan himself had been gone for a bit.

Ethrios blinked aimlessly as Mohan jumped, he too turned his head. Looking straight at Saria as she requested the furniture stay on the ground, standing up straight the game vaniahed and as quickly as he appeared. Reaching out he manifested his item of power the hourglass, a rather large hourglass with golden hue. He began to slide it forwards and his figure began to fade into his own frame of time, but not before leaving behind a couple chess pieces. He still wanted to play but would do so another time, if that time ever came, plus Saria actually scared him a lot. Mostly through her furious unforgiving rage, but other times she was actually pretty motherly.

Saria watched as the being Ethrios manifested some sort of hourglass before fading away. She watched the now empty spot, quirking a brow. She must've scared him off.

She turned around so she was facing Mohan now, watching his body movements as he gave the low down on Yuni and Fray. But he mentioned two named she didn't recognize - Kai and Kira. Her brow furrowed again. And why did Mohan take Frayda away to the mountains? Was she in danger?

She could tell Mohan didn't want to discuss the issue. He seemed upset by it. Half of Saria wanted to prod the truth out of him, out of concern of course. The other half wanted to respect his boundaries, the way Mohan always respected hers. She nodded slowly at the information.

"Do you mind pouring me a cup?"

Mohan too watched as Ethrios faded away. Something told him that the being wasn't actually gone - I mean, is time ever really gone? Instead he turned his focus to Saria, watching her reaction to his update. She seemed confused, but didn't press the matter. He poured her a mug of coffee as requested, sliding it over to her.

"So, it's me and you." He summarized as he sipped at his own mug. "I guess we need to figure out a way to get more business then. How do we draw in the rest of Barton so that we don't go broke and starve?"

"That's the golden question, I guess." Saria responded flatly. She grabbed a barstool, sitting down and leaning her chin on her hand as she stirred the coffee nonchalantly.

"We could clean up the place and market it as a grand re-opening." She suggested listlessly. "We could host another rave, people tend to like those. We could market your skills as a doctor, beef up the training arena in the basement and re-market as an inn focusing on physical growth and rejuvenation."

Orange eyes scanned the room calmly, noting the decor.
"Maybe redecorate to look more like a 5-star hotel and spa, rather than a weird old tavern manor thing."

Vintrict stepped through the door, all casual as he usually did. White hair resting on his shoulders and down his back, he stepped through, moving over to find a couch to prop down on lazily.

Mohan shrugged at the suggestions. He wasn't really a business man, and he didn't know what to say. All the suggestions sounded kind of cheap to him, but he also recognized the need to not starve.

He looked up as Vin walked in, and Mohan was reminded of how he sort of tuned in to him attacking another woman. He never did get the full story on what that was about, but he knew that if Saria knew what had happened she would be pissed. He considered whether or not to bring it up.

"I don't know. I feel like the people around here kind of enjoy the old weird tavern vibe." He said with a sip of his coffee.

Hmm. Well Mohan wasn't really any help in this matter. Saria watched the doctor make a face and she turned to see Vin walk in and plop down on one of the couches. She stared at him for a moment before looking back to Mohan.

"In that case I guess our best bet would be to disguise as a grand re-opening."

He caught the stare of the two individuals in here. And sure enough, one of them was Saria. He had not made aware to her that he had been following her around the lands, and felt it best to keep that information to himself. Still, he had a good feeling these two didn't look at him with a friendly eye. He hadn't exactly been the best of customers.

"Or how 'bout a FESTIVAAAAAALLLLL~" That familiarly odd accent of Yuni's rang through cheerily, echoing in the bar room and the kitchen all at once. But where was the little knucklehead?

Well it was a little harder to get a lock on this location for one reason or another... The shadows writhed in their places until a vortex of inky fire gathered in a wall by a couple of the tables, a squealing little Nekojin flying out in some sort of superhero pose. She was aiming to land on one of the tables and make this entrance super awesome in her usual way, but... that didn't happen. The back of a chair caught her foot which set her direction a little askew, flopping onto the end of a table to topside both it and her. It was a mess, but hopefully nothing was broken...

Amid the collapsed furniture, Yuni could be heard groaning. "... That was supposed to be SO much cooler..."

Saria was... rarely phased by antics anymore. She watched quietly as Yuni rocketed into the bar, her suggestion of a festival echoing throughout the whole place. Then there she was - the inky, firey teen collapsing over a cluster of bar furniture. She cracked a grin, watching the scene as she sipped at her coffee.

"Well, that absence didn't last long." The elf said with a hint of a laugh, referencing how Mohan had not seen Yuni in a while. "A festival isn't a bad idea. But a festival of what? We can't just make up a holiday."

Well, Saria may have been unphased, but Mohan was most definitely phased. He jumped in his seat when he heard Yuni's voice throughout the manor, and he looked around as if trying to pin down the direction.

"Was that Yuni--" and then she burst in through her vortex, clammering over a chair and table. Mohan immediately stood up, rushing over to the neko, pulling a chair off of her and placing the table back into it's upright position.

"Yuni! Are you alright?" The doctor asked, immediately looking for a sign of broken things, but seeing none, he offered a hand out to help her up.

"Mohan! The doctor man!" Yuni chirped in greeting while the pile of furniture was being lifted from her form, the memory of the shapeshifter clear in her mind. As she saw a hand held to her, she would gladly grasp it and hoist herself vertical. The petite teen dusted off her black button up and faded jeans, checking her tail for kinks. When everything checked out, Yuni gave a wide grin and a surprise quick hug to Mohan while replying with a, "Yep! Alls well that ends well!"

Then to Saria, Yuni blinked icy eyes at merrily. Oddly enough, the kid looked older. A couple years maybe, an inch taller... It had only been a few months at most since last they all had seen each other. Right?

"Well, there's usually a general thingamajig for the comin' o' summer, yeah? It gets really big in my hometown... It is summer 'ere, right?" Yuni questioned as an after thought, looking around at everyone and spotting Vintrict in the process. Excitedly, she waved to him. "Oh hi Vinny! Haven't seen ya in what? Years?"

Saria thought for a moment about the summer solstice festival, although they technically missed it.

"First day of summer was a week ago." She said, more to herself than to anyone else. "Although, we could still use it as an excuse. And decorations would only take me about 5 minutes to flower up the place."

She looked to Mohan as if to get his opinion, but he seemed busy being all doctor-y, and probably didn't have an opinion anyway.

"We can give it a shot, and if it doesn't work out, then we'll market as a re-opening." She said finally, a decision being made. "Let's get some life into these dry bones."

Mohan immediately noticed the difference in Yuni. She certainly did seem older. Mohan tilted his head to the side slightly as she interacted with Saria and greeted Vin.

"Are you coming out of a different time?" He asked curiously. She WAS questioning whether or not it was summer 'here', and how long it had been since she saw Vin. It would also explain why she looked older.

He looked to Saria as she seemed set on the solstice festival. Goody. Crowds of people.
