Theme: Lemon
Time spent: ~50mins

Comments: Lemons are delicious! (yes, sour, but quite lovely in plain water with mint!)

These are so detailed! Did you use watercolor?

Drew it out in pencil then inked it in, it was meant to be just a pen/ink drawing, then thought why not add some colour? I think my markers are too dark yellow but I still had the watercolours out so did the lemons yellow (tested first if the ink ran), then decided to the background too!

The ink did fade or tone down from the dark black when I painted over it, but I decided I didn't want to go over all the lines (again!) & left it as is! 3nodding

I got two sets of cute watercolour from an art box subscription I tried, they are like travel sets? One is paper with the paint dried on it! Scrawlrbox 49 with Viviva Coloursheets & scrawlrbox travel watercolour set Other boxes had a pastel version & a pencil/greyed colour version!

It's easy to pop into a bag or leave lying around on the desk, & with a filled waterbrush easy to just dabble or put a wash of colour on!

Comments: I don't know where the yellow came from on the face, edge of the brush from previous mixing?!? gonk

Also originally didn't do a skin colour, then outlined it, then decided to do a skin colour & it smeared the outline pen, so sorry! crying

Thank you for drawing him! I like how you framed him with the scythe blade, and I'm glad you got the bracelets and necklace in there. And no worries on the smudge/bleed, tis part of the random happenings of the medium.

Comments: My day was full and didnt have time color it sigh* I color it later.. maybe some day when we have finish/improve day..

After drawing it myself I am delighted others decided to draw it too (I was cursing the headgear, & the snake! lol & it's my avi, I could look at the individual pieces & see them!) This is brilliant! I love the detailing you got on the head, & that snake has sass!
