Not in the middle of class? Do you go to school? Do you know how much free time there is? Yeah, not that much. You can basically in class, but when its learned your reading a Bible, uh-oh...

You can read what you please so long as you do not distract any other students/faculty with your readings. The same principle as prayer really.
Now it is illegal (outside a religious/biblical studies class) for any religious text to be read by the teacher in a class/lecture where it has no relevance (assuming this to be a public school of course) as that fails the Lemon test...
Several schools may discourage the reading of religious texts within their grounds, but saying it is illegal is purest fancy.

Not if you're receiving government money to do so that is. It is perfectly legal for the everyday citizen read what they desire in a public setting.
