Those arent real subjects says the scientist....I jest though. Thats cool, its really sad that the uni I went to has been suffering economically the past few years and as such has had to make some pretty big cuts to the subjects which arent beinging in the dollars. and sadly that means the social programs have taken a pretty big cut, and hense some amazing staff have had to move on. Are you at a place that specialises in social sciences, or one with many subjects/areas? Is it going strong in your area? Whilst I didnt take social sciences, I do believe they are essential for understanding changing and evolving societys,

Sometimes watching the movies first tend to be a good idea, so that you wouldn't have to expect much. rofl I learned this from Harry Potter and my friend's experience with Sword Art Online.

For Star Wars, I've probably watched part of it when I was younger but I do want to finish the whole thing. xD Something like the LOTR movies too? I kind of divided them into 3 days so I might divide Star Wars too. There's only 2 movies? ovo

There are like 6 movies total of Star Wars, divided into 2 trilogies. Breaking them up over a few days is a great idea. biggrin

As for the LOTR books, it's pretty good so far. I'm nearly halfway through the Fellowship of the Ring. I read it years ago, but totally forgot what happened. sweatdrop Then a friend was reading the Hobbit, so I decided to read it with her, & then read the rest of the series while I was at it.

I totally understand about watching the movies first. They sometimes do turn out a tad disappointing when you have the book in mind. But I also like to see what they kept from the book and what the left out or added. Very few movies can I say I liked better than the book... But it is nice to see the book brought to life with stunning visuals and a soundtrack. 3nodding
