((The time is up. No one played, which is depressing, but so comes an end to the event. Maybe next year sinners.))

The ball went off without a catch, a long time of fun and games, food and good drink with almost nothing out of the normal for the castle as a whole. The lady sin and her deep royal blue form fitting gown walked up on the stag and took the center. "Well my loves, that concludes our wonderful yearly ball! To those of you who have drank too much, take a seat Sloth will see to it that you are well rested. To those of you who can still move, see to it to help the others make it back to their rooms carefully." She spoke kindly in that slightly sing song voice of hers that seemed to echo all about so that all could hear her. "And remember, if you are going to play into the wee hours of the night, not to wake the dead, least the prime sin become enraged yet again for another year in a row. Yes that does mean you Cain." She said with a fixed gaze as her deep blue eyes seemed to glow. Such was the power of a siren's command. With that she took a deep bow, which was the signal the end of the night and all of the fun. Just as she was coming up from her bow, that odd amulet slipped right out of her cleavage and hit the ground all aglow at her feet. Grey light engulfed the castle once more righting the wrong it had caused once more now that it had enough time to recharge itself. In the blink of an eye everyone was as they should have been. An eye brow rose upon the prime sin's face as he did not recall how he found his self on stage before most of the castle but he did not care for the moment. All seemed well and that was all that matter at the moment.

Sorry about my absence during this year's event. I was out doing some stuff with my family and friends off-screen, as well as did some trick or treating myself. Yes, I still enjoy it, and it's a fun way to dress up, without anyone judging us for it. As a matter of fact, I feel like that's the one time of year when everyone gets it right. Folks are free to dress as they please, young and old alike, and they're given rewards and compliments for just showing up and having fun.

Jovani Joestar

Jovani's body slowly drips into the puddle of ichor and begins to slowly fade from the realm with the weapon leaving with him. He knows not where he is heading but it won't be good...
As the ichor swelled and enveloped Jovani, it would raise from the ground like a plant, forming a sturdy base before swirling into a cocoon like bud shape, sealed tightly and anchored near Lust's throne. The very moment that the ichor took it's grasp of Jovani, any enchantments cast upon him would be erased instantly, as easily as glass shattering. It would be at this point that Jovani would be placed into a state of cosmic uncertainty, both alive and dead, existing yet not existing; none would be able to interfere now.

Elsewhere within the deepest reaches of Jovani's mind. . . . . .

Darkness. When Jovani would open his eyes finally he would be greeted with endless suffocating darkness; the air heavy and not a sound to be heard. As far as Jovani could tell, he was awake in the actual sense and it would be indistinguishable compared to being in the waking world. A voice would query suddenly, loudly and without any regard for Jovani's disorientation.

"F̴̡̧̤̠̻̙̥̞͂̊͂͒͐̔̄̒̃ḭ̶̱̙̞̰̩̯̗̯̗̭̉̌̈̽̈́̕̕͜n̷̤̝͓̔̇̾̈́̆͆a̸̡̼̟̾͋̈̈́̑̔̈̀̀̃l̸̢̡̻͕̞͍̝͚͂͘l̶̢̧̢̦̟̪̝̮̭̹̱̞̄͑̍͐̀̐̀̉́͘ÿ̴̻̝̥̼̙͍͖̠͎͔̞̻̲̻́͌̆ ̷̛͈̟̝͈͈̯̬̰̞̝͊̐̂̾̂̔̒̇̕̚͘ą̷̨͔̗̭̞̫̣͉̝̪̹̇̓̃̂͆̀͐̏́̀̕͜͠w̶̧̹̣̲̯͍̾͛̇͋̚a̴̬̜͖̫̯̟̤͓̲̗̤̾̆k̶̡̳̱̬̭͕͙͔͚͉͈͕͎̻͓̻̈́͂̽̆̊̓͂̀̅̊̕͠͝͠è̸̢͉̦̙͖̟̹̰̣̞̈́̇̈́̍̀̍̏̑͂̚ͅ,̷̛̤̘̯͔̰̪͙̹̥̈̏̅̾̍̍͑͑ ̶̩̩͕͔̰͕̳̇͑͆̽̾̈̇͌̋ẇ̵̡̛͙͈̼̣͚̠͛̆̊͒̿̓͘͝è̸̠̤̞͖̊̽̑̎l̶̨͕̻̦̲̗͓̰̞͙͆̀̇́́̒̽̉̕͘̕͠p̸̢̧̢̛̛̱̦͖̝͇͔̱͔̰̙̼͚͙̍̂̏͊͆́̎̓͛̈́̀̿͘͝?̶̝̮̜̜̤̳̤̣̩͚́̃͜͝"

Jovani would then snap awake only to be shocked to be back in this realm of violence and ichor. "Who...what.....Wrath..." Jovani felt his chest to see it was unharmed but in a whole lot of pain "Where have you sent me this time Wrath..it feels darker than the pit I was in before..." Jovani slowly got to his feet to survey the area. "I am awake but in a lot of pain yet I am unharmed from that sword you so graciously thrown into my chest." "I sadly couldn't get a good look at the weapon but I imagine it is a very finely crafted blade." Jovani then tries to summon Thriller to no avail. "What??? my Stand...I can't feel him..." Jovani then tries to summon Alebedo and Morrigan and they do not appear. "This...is really not good.." Jovani then tries to summon any of his weapons from his ring and it is dormant. "Ok ok Wrath...what are you planning to do being that I cannot use any of my powers?" Jovani stares into the dark pit not knowing what is coming for him and if that from any direction. "I shall not fear this place and I shall prevail no matter the cost because Mistress needs me..." Jovani looks around more to survey more of the area and tries to fly but his wings seem pinned. "Yare Yare....I can't even fly??" "Fine..." Jovani then sits down in the darkness and waits. "Your move Wrath.."

The darkness began to laugh, a sudden gust of putrid air flowing forth from directly in front of Jovani which threatened to push the man over from where he sat, onto his back. In front of him now would appear to be what looked like bars, like a cage with dim light just beyond; but was that a fleshy mass beyond it? It was then that an actual horror would be realized, as a crimson glow from beyond the bars began to grow with intensity to reveal that the bars were not bars, but actually glistening teeth of a size far larger than Jovani could dare fathom. The man was mere inches away from the mouth of a massive creature; Jovani by comparison would be the size of a flea looking up at what was thought to be bars that extended towards the heavens. Gathering his bearings further, he would realize that what he stood upon, was the backhand of the creature; the surface area of which would be unknown in the smothering darkness.

*red paid close attention to his instructions and she took a maza husk and took the spoon in-between pawed fingers scooping up some of the batter and trying to place two spoonfulls in the husk, though some times the batter would spill over when she tried to close the corn husk over it. hers looked messy like some of the batter was seeping out and overflowing. but as she practiced the motion hers began to look ok like mr.lights after repetition of the scooping and covering and twisting, for a bit it became much easer though some batter was got on her fur. she'd deffentily need a bath later. the batter seemed stickier than she thought.*

as the batter cooked in the olla pot red felt a sence of accomplishment she discovered food tastd better when made together with friends. and the more effort you put into it or doing a good work out before you ate made food taste like you earnd it.this was a good day*

*red wondered if zara being the sin of gluttony had tried all food before or if this was new for her. she also wondered if rhoxane if she was a picky eater or if she really did just need blood did she need water at least? she knew that vampire bats didnt even need to drink water they got all their nutrience from blood rhoxane was a new critter she knew nothing about and it was fascinating. so was lady zara were sins like gods?*

Hey there. Just wanted to invite you into one of the threads that I showed to Zane, when he was around here more often. Front page has the information you need, if you want to do some role-playing here, and if you got any questions about it, one of us can definitely answer them. If you'd just like to hang out, chat and chill, that's just as okay with us as well, since the thread owner does like to say we're the Jewel of the Chatterbox for a reason. What do you say?

Jovani was now shook in place seeing the titan of a creature he was standing on. "Yeah..you are not Wrath at all..." Jovani then took a moment to recollect himself as this is a trial and he must not be shaken. "So it would seem all of my powers are moot here, and if I may ask your name?" Jovani couldn't see the creature's face all he could see is the teeth and the darkness of the creature. "It would also seem you share Wrath's ichor and properties but I shall deal with whatever comes my way!" Jovani then surveyed the area once more trying to find a way to overcome this trial. It would seem the Lesser was in a whole other pocket dimension not knowing if there is a way out or not. Jovani then stood back up and asked the creature. "What do you want from me, it is obvious you need me alive for something or else I am pretty sure I would have been consumed by this darkness a while ago." Jovani then stood back to look at the size of this creature in awe. Jovani then crossed his arms and stared at the maw in anticipation.

The creature, at this point would shift it's speech patterns, finding amusement from the tiny creature that was inhabiting a space on top of the back of it's palm. At Jovani's statement of needing him, the creature began to bellow with laughter, loudly in a deafening manner. Jovani's footing would be hard to keep as the laughter caused the creature to shake a bit, raising and slamming it's frontal limb down into the darkness with a resounding quaking thud; this in turn would allow Jovani to affirm that there was some sort of land beneath them. Making itself easier to understand, it spoke in primitive common tongue; human speech. "Me? Need something from you? THAT'S RICH!! What could you, a mortal creature of the lower planes provide to me?" It chortled, snorting between it's laughter which sent soot and ash down upon Jovani like a blanketing wave. "You want my name? Earn it, mortal." It paused, suddenly speaking in a mischievous tone. "Do you like games?" It asked, patiently waiting thereafter.

Pride the Ever-Living
He heard her response and smile a coy smile. There was no way in any of the realms, now, that Sloth could possibly be cross with him. She had after all just agreed to help him. "Wonderful! Well we shall not waste any more time. Come with me, we have some things to seek out, and so little to in which to do it." He held out his left hand to her, palm up as if offering her to actually take it. Already the magic he was calling to steal the two of them away to another location was starting to come in small bits around the two of them. The adventure and hunt were now underway.

The want to be helpful to Sloth currently outweighed her desire to crawl into a hole and hide, though still Edha’s mind was somewhat lagging over the fact she was going to be quite busy assisting Pride for a little while. Boy… her bed sure did sound cozy right now. Her hand was careful, gentle as she took the hand offered by Pride, looking off and around herself as their scenery began to change. Even moreso since earlier, Edha looked awake. There were certainly questions bubbling up now. She wondered if she was foolish, agreeing to help without asking for the specifics as to what Pride would want her to do.

Well, what if she disappointed him? And… disappointed Sloth, in turn! Oh, dear..

“What are we going to look for?” She asked now, peering up towards the Prime Sin to whom she was going to be following for a bit. “You had mentioned a target.. Are we going to kill them, Lord Pride?” The word ‘kill’ felt alien on her tongue but she was aware… enough to wonder if a fight was going to ensue once they caught this person. Was she going to watch Pride explode someone?? The spacey member of the cyan fold was half in her mind envisioning the scenarios in which Pride was about to pummel somebody.

The moment that her hand touched his own, he closed his softly measuring carefully the strength used so as not to harm her in the slightest. There would be no reason given to Sloth from him personally for her to unleash waking nightmares before he so much as bruised one of her fold personally. At the same time the magic placed them in a room mostly shield from the castle itself or at least those more in tune with magic itself. Here in this room there were many different tools used for tracking with magic itself, among other things. "Kill them? Oh my dear girl, that would be a kindness I do not owe them." HIs words were soft, they were also far too kind in the way they were uttered, and if she had any common sense at all, that alone should scare her more than anything. "We are going to track a certain soul across all of time, space, and the realms vast, far and wide. That is what we are going to do. And when we find them, you will have done your mistress a great service, which I will explain in great detail." There was no lie to anything he had just stated.

Granted he could very well have used his own personal item to find the offending soul, and yank them into the realm, but there was something that personally bothered him about it all. Why was it that his own healing could only mend the body and parts of the soul but not her mind. That was not something normally possible which told the prime sin this had to be approached a different way. With two beings working on it from two different spots in the spectrum of magic, it would make the work a bit quicker. Dark emotions raged within him, he had the power just not the clarity to direct it as need be. That was where the young lady would come in, her simple and calm state would be what he would use to filter everything through without the risk of burning her up.

He would grant her ever protection he could offer while they were on this task. He moved about the room gathering this and that, bringing in all to a large blank circle a bit further in the room. Turning to look at her he motion her to the smaller circle on the floor just outside of the larger one where he was placing items in a manner. "The sooner we get started, the sooner we will finish and you will have earned your prize for helping me. Stand in that circle and clear your mind until I tell you otherwise. I have to set up the rest of the spell and it will take a few minutes, though worry not you will be safe inside of that circle." Came his explanation as he set down a rather large quartz crystal just to his left inside of the large circle.

Jovani Joestar

Earn it, mortal." It paused, suddenly speaking in a mischievous tone. "Do you like games?" It asked, patiently waiting thereafter.

Jovani would regain his footing after the creature let out the deafening laugh. "Yare yare, I can tell this will be such an ordeal for me but to answer your question..-" Jovani paused as he snickered as well while stretching. "I do in fact like games and I do intend to earn the right to know your name." Jovani then finished his stretching and felt as limber as he could be in the suffocating darkness he was in, he then cracks his knuckles and looked up at the massive titan. "What shall we play big guy? I am ready for whatever you throw at me!" Jovani was confident because whatever happens he must pull through for his Mistress and know true power.

As the sin finished her blessing, the elegant dress the dreaming sin wore seemed to melt on her and began to ooze down her form, turning an inky black that stretched and pulled into wraps that covered all her personal parts and then a few extra spaces at it wove around the sin's body, two ends dangling finally as finally stopped in their place. Soul followed suit and the fabrics darkened to match the color of the newly warped attire. Sloth's hair would shift and change color, adding a more sunset pink to the mix and and a more vivid pink would also replace the soft Tokyo pink she traditionally had.

'Why does Cain look like cotton candy?' Those words battered around the inside of her skull for a moment and then she stopped. Belle looked at Lani for a moment and realized that she, was someone who she barely knew anymore, at least in the sense of her memories. This was a deep concern given what she knew of Envy. Eyes widened as she realized now that the Emerald sin had just approached the entrance of the throne room with what seemed to be a new member of his fold, and was likely able to be able to see Lani. Trying her best to keep her composure, unlike she had less than an hour ago, Sloth's expression was like a stone, firm and unmoving. Her eyes seemed panicked while she looked on at Lust and Lani.

What was she to do? What COULD she do? She knew that if Seth saw his pairbond in this state things would unravel quicker than anyone could even begin to comprehend. Should she divert his attention elsewhere? Should she take Lani and Lust somewhere quickly? No, both of those things would seem suspicious to him. She would have to take this in as a two fold measure. As Jovani melted away from the throne, taking the sword with it, she approached the girls. Sloth would look to Meekay and nod, and then to Zenna and tilt her head towards Envy and the newest underling. Floating in the way of Envy's eye view of them all, as Meekay sat behind her, further blocking view of them, Zenna would approach the new envyling and sniff her a little before sitting near her, ears perked in a friendly manner that would signal that she was okay to be approached and pet the very large beast.

"Perhaps you should take her to your tower, she seems like she needs space to settle." She said aloud, while sending message through the sin link specifically to Alice. "I don't think that it is wise or safe for Seth to see her right now, and this would be the best course of action. This is something that needs to be gently eased into, especially if this is irreversible." She gestured her hand forward, her fingers flitting a bit as a portal opened that lead to the entrance of Lust's tower. Meekay would continue to stand in front of Anise, Lust and Lani till they either entered the portal or moved somewhere else.

The dreaming sin finally moved over to the entrance of the throne room and heterochromatic eyes fell onto the new envyling. "How pretty, is this a new underling of yours, Envy?" Her words laced with a kindness that felt like a mother hugging a child close to her chest, her smile seemed caring and elegant. Even with floating the sin seemed to be quite a bit shorter than Green sin. "Things have been a bit chaotic here in the throne room, perhaps a tour of the castle would be far more enjoyable." Sloth's words felt like silk. She awaited their replies, floating in place, both her feet and cape never touching the ground.

Edha

So, death was a mercy here. Far too soft a blow for the offender they now sought. She dipped her head in understanding, gaze somewhat blurry as she stared down at her own feet while he spoke- her mind focused on simply digesting his words. Edha did not know what happened, to start all of this. She felt, just a bit lost even as she now acted as a temporary aide for Pride in his endeavor. It left her somewhat uneasy… whatever happened must have been big, horrible.. And it affected her own leadership. And Edha was completely unaware of anything. Perhaps uneasy wasn’t quite the correct word. She just felt.. A little bad, she guessed.

Still, perhaps the overall lack of emotional attachment she had to whatever harm had been caused could be useful in this state. Again Edha would nod, fairly prompt in following Pride’s directions as she stepped into the circle he motioned for her to enter. “I trust that you would not hurt me, Lord Pride.” She spoke, sage green eyes watching him work. It didn’t seem efficient to let her die from this task, and Pride seemed like an efficient person! It would.. be a pain if she died right now, but she figured if something happened Pride would be in control. Edha still didn’t think much when it came to the topic of her own death, she was sure when the time came she would embrace it as eternal, perfect rest. But… at the very least for now Sloth had given her slightly more of a will to live than she’d had when she came here. She would miss Sloth if she died now, she supposed.

Ah, she was supposed to be clearing her mind! She didn’t say much more after her declaration of trust, instead choosing to close her eyes. Slowly, then all at once her thoughts would slip away and beautiful silence would fill her mind. Perfect, peaceful, calm.

Upon hearing her words he stopped for a moment, what appeared to be random objects in both hands, and some floating about him as he gathered what he would need from about the room, placing them here and there within an array within the circle some how. Looking at her an eye brow rose in mild question, but it was clear to him that she was a newer soul and therefore did not know much about him or the general realm in which he and the others ruled. Soon though she would pick up on certain rules that all should follow. With a mild angelic smile, one of actual genuine kindness, which was rare for the prime sin to make graced his face for a passing moment. "No my dear, you are helping me with something rather important. No harm will personally come to you from my actions or lack there of and should some sort of messenger of the void appear to come and claim you while you are under my personal care, it will find itself hard pressed to not end up as a gift to your mistress." Those words were spoken with a rare soft and kind tone to her, yet it was rather clear the cutting edge and warning they held for the realms at large. A personal decree or promise of any kind from the prime sin was a seldom wonder in and of itself.

Having answered her and seeing that she was doing as he had asked her, he set to work with placing the other objects where they needed to be. The clear orb he held in his left hand was something rare to those who knew magical items, but to anyone else it just seemed like a ball of hollow glass, empty as it was. He placed it down within its own empty circle woven into the large spell on the ground. The last two parts of his spell, items long since given to him countless ages ago, though to him it seemed as if it was only yesterday in one sense or another. He placed the single magic laced silver arrow head fired at him ages ago from his white voice in a training session, down near the edge of the circle's lining to give it a boost of add protection. The small Hell Pearl given to him by a former sin in her prime, glowed faintly the same color almost as the stones on the ring set on his right index finger, he placed it just inside of a dark mark on the opposite side of where the arrow head was placed. For a moment more he lingered, knowing that once he started this grand magic with all of these items in place, he was going to burn through most of them. It was almost sad knowing that many of them would not survive the completion of the spell but the cost for what they were seeking would be well worth it.

Otherwise if it was not, he was going to have to deal with a very upset Sloth, and a very pissed off Greed as well as Envy once things came to light. A thought that while mildly humorous to him, was not something he really wanted to deal with. With that thought having passed through his mind, his eyes became colder than the nineth circle of Hell, a less rare look for the prime sin to have on his face at the moment. Stepping away from the circle to draw a bit back in order to take out the other focus item needed for the spell to work, he sighed, almost hearing the whisper in the back of his head from his white voice about how the magic he was about to invoke was absolute madness and would damage more than one realm, but he let that fair warning fall away, as he removed the book that started it all still bound in the mental Greed had melted around. Looking down at it his eyes narrowed, and frost started to form on the metal, though he did not need the book open for the spell to work so he would leave it bound, just added to its personal hell with a flux in the over all chill to a degree.

After a moment more and a deep breath he breathed in, it slowly came out as both of his arms rose on either side of him, and he let the book go as it floated there in the air just before him. "Now we began. Keep your mind clear of all things aside from the book before me, think about it and who wrote it. That is what we seek right now, their location and nothing more." His words were clam, almost chilly to a degree as he allowed his personal magic to flow into the large circle before the two of them. The spell was just now starting to power up and it would take a few moments as it stood. He was after all casting a vast net of sorts across every realm to find one simple being.

Edha

She didn’t see his brow raise- at this point her eyes were closed, expression blank. She was almost meditating on the spot at this point. His words tickled her ear, however, and the ghost of a smile traced her lips through her focus. Edha did not in the slightest know Pride’s history, the range of his personality, the things he’d done unto others or what had been done to him- it was perhaps quite naive to have thrown her trust out as she did, but she believed and that was enough for her. At the very least, Edha had not yet met a person that had properly broken her trust. Not since coming here… but there was no one to have met before this.

She knew it could happen, seen it happen to others in her dreamwalking, but she did not know how it felt to be betrayed herself.

Moving on, Pride seemed about ready to proceed. Her eyes opened now, her body felt light now as she looked to the book. His instructions rang through her head as she hummed, regarding this item bathed in metal now with frost growing cold and sharp around it. As silly as the thought seemed, it felt as though this book were being punished. Did it then belong to their prey? Her pupils dilated to a near pinpoint as she kept staring and staring and staring and focusing upon this book which almost made her feel sick. There was something dark about this book, heinous. The contents within troubled her even if she lacked understanding of what it truly held within. She tried to think about the owner of this book- tried to envision them with the book at first, a man.. That felt correct. Edha exhaled, closing her eyes again- visions of the book remained even if she didn’t look at it though now she wasn’t just considering it but its progenitor. Where.. Was he?

Where.. Was he?

One by one the items bathed in his own magic, controlled as it was started to glow. Some of then even started to float and shake within the circle. As his magic flowed from him in a manner befitting a simple stream, he was careful when it reached her protective circle and focus point. She was doing it, she was mending the gap that he currently could not cross his self due to his own emotions. The prime sin wanted nothing more than to fish up the author of the tome before him, and separate his soul from the body it currently was housed in, only to do untold things to it best left to one of the realms known as Hell and those who called that bleak land home. As for the body he would gift it to Greed or Envy, whichever it would please more so that way it could be used as some sort of eternal training dummy of sorts. Such raw emotions kept him well from using this spell he was fueling with is own magic to its correct nature. This was after all a wide realm search spell of sorts. The moment though that he had a location, all bets were off in one sense or another.

The only thing now, was how long would it take to find the target in question. He wondered if he had chosen wrong in who he was using as a proxy? Would one of Sloth's own fold last long enough for the spell to find the target or would this all be for naught? Hawk feather farthest from them was the first one to burn away do to the nature of the spell. That told him that this being was not within the realm of earth, which was a change for once. The next item was a green glass bottle full of geist vapor that burned away. That meant that the soul was not in the realm of spirits which narrowed things down a fair amount for him in terms of trouble. The next item which he found mildly appalling was the great red dragon scale which had been used in a number of spells before, it burned away as if hellfire had touched it. Knowing the nature of his own magic he supposed that was par for the course but that meant that nothing draconic was aiding or hiding this being. The next item to burn away was the raven quill which was concerning, it meant that no known place of knowledge was hiding the being in the slightest. Other items of lesser importance burned away one, after the other, out of all one hundred and three items that he had personally set into this spell, eighty-nine had already been burned clean through.

Still he allowed his own magic to fuel the spell, keeping the flow nice and steady as not to upset anything or cause any real harm to any involved. However as he took note of the items now gone, his mood was slowly dropping to dangerous levels of murderous rage. "You are doing perfect my dear, just keep it up a bit longer. It should not be too much longer now." Words of encouragement indeed which were an oddity coming from him personally but she was doing better than he had first thought possible for one of her own nature.
