As a tank, I require 4 attacks + 2 buffs. Don't really care about the 8th ring, but I would highly prefer if the 7th was fitness at the least.

Unless you amp, then you can bring the sEB set all you want. I don't care.

As attacker, I usually does not bring meat, but I still bring bandage or wish. I even bring defib sometimes.

You just won't know when:
A. Your tank is lagging or disconnected (knowing zOMG server is kinda so-so connection to faraway players) > You should drop some heals for your tank
B. NF off aggro due to someone lagging thus accidentally release rage attack > You gonna need to heal ur team because tank healing alone is not fast enough
C. One of important buff like Div or Halo fell off but you are not assigned any self-rage buff like rock/tef/pot/sphere > You can use bandage at least for that.

A) If you lose your tank you'll have to get a new one and might as well restart the YM run

B) Bandage won't be enough to heal an entire crew even assisting the tank. It's far more effective for whoever has aggro to run. If you bandage you're contributing to the problem by building more aggro for yourself when the tank already has trouble keeping it. Furthermore, it's easier for a high dps crew to kill a NF when it's raging because a Tank can keep up for a short period and if there's around 2k health left then it's better for everyone to let loose because a Tank can heal for several rounds if they move into range and use diag+raged wish and bandage anyone low on HP.

C) Div and Halo are not important enough to self-rage over. A R1 Div or Halo is sufficient until you build enough rage on enemies. I've dropped Halo entirely from tanking crews and have been able to clear YM. Furthermore, div doesn't regen hp until people stop attacking, so r1 or r4 or no div at all doesn't matter for anyone while they are attacking or healing.

I guess there is such a thing as a thin-skinned tank.

I know right. Not everyone knows that way of playing either.

I played with a crew yesterday and they were using the " Ninja Strategy " , and it was pretty fast way to clear YM.

Not sure if newbies to CL 10 would be able to handle it. Like a full crew of CL 10s idk. Cl11s yeah.

I don't normally Heal mysel, but I bring bandage as a way to quickly build rage. I suppose you are right, I don't nessarly need it, but bringing bandage is a security blanket. Plus nearly everyone I've ever run DMS with brings it.

There's a tradeoff there. You can clear a room in under 2 minutes, easily, unamped with the right rings and it takes considerably longer the more people bring meat and heals who don't need it.

Ferocious Pumpkin

When you're crewing with a bunch of randoms for a game that's only been back up for a couple of weeks, trusting the tank and healers is hard. People are still remembering how to play! Nothing personal.

Honestly though, I've stopped using bandage completely. That ring doesn't seem to help much. I'd rather wish and be wished upon. Meat also isn't anything against the tank. I personally just don't like being "squishy."

Good points, I've been considering dropping it anyways because I don't really use it. I always hated meat, always felt like it didn't give a good enough boost to be worth it. (Same with sweetheart, someone asks me to bring it and I cringe. So much work!)

yall too serious about a basic a** browser game, gettin' your feels hurt and s**t oh my god. ya vote for trump too? lol.
I like to bring meat when I don't know the tank too well regardless of my level. I can go veggie at my current level of 10.5, even 10.3 as long as the rest of the crew and especially tank, know their s**t. I like to bring more attacks who doesn't? Fast killing = faster through ym = faster to level up. I only tell the person who has two non-rage buffs to bring bandage, everyone else can rage with their defense.
this game is all they have pls b nice

I crewed with people who only brought TWO attacks. I wanted to cri. And almost everyone now brings their meat and bandy.. I am referring to high lvl players

if it's a random YM crew and I'm just wasting time I don't really care. As long as its not weak-a** dps rings like Hunter's bow and solar as their only two attacks. gonk

What's wrong with solar? It repels Gru but compared to Shuriken it does have low dps, it depends on the player's preference I guess.

Newbie Gaian

As a DPSer, I don't really bring heals, I trust my tank whether it be a stranger or a friend to heal the crew, but I tend to bring meat with me to go solo sometimes on a mob or just to last a bit longer. My ring set would be 4 attacks, 3 buffs(meat included), 1 passive( I don't really have that many passive rings, I'm poor). Sometimes I do remove the meat and exchange it with adren if needed. please don't hate me.

There's several rings that are much better than solar. Solar has such low dps it's not even worth bringing, since if the rest of your crew dies in the middle of a room because they don't carry it, and you're the only one alive... You've just going to die anyway. Just get another ring with better DPS to at least speed up the run, even if it is a little bit. It adds up in the end.
