What a stinker!
I think FB is probably popular because it gives since of intimacy by being able to know what people are thinking and doing without actually being close. Which is understandable since socializing is exhausting. You reap the benefits without the actual effort.
Of course, I'm sure people use it to keep in touch too..

It can only do that if you put information about yourself on it. You know I don't offer a lot without a reason so any facebook I had would stay pretty bare. And thus be pointless. There are other ways to stay in touch; e-mail, Skype, gaia, even snail mail! She uses none of them.

A lot of other people seem to blame me for my not wanting a facebook. confused
I like to send Christmas card in the mail to people.
And yes, I have thought about asking you if you'd like to exchange addresses. I love receiving things in the mail.
I just don't get it. She says she wants to reconnect and then does nothing to do so.
