If I was living back home in the US, the cash shop would be out of the question for me. The only reason I can afford it now is because the dollar is weak enough in the exchange rate.
And since value for money has dropped to nothing, I'm not buying anymore until they fix everything that's broken.

The fact that the majority of your users are in the US, which is having severe economic issues should be a clue that finding new ways to charge money ain't gonna work, and you'll alienate alot of people. Plus, its destroyed the economy on this site, and seems to have caused neglect of key areas.

By all of this crap logic, you need to get rid of Monthly Items. No more aquarium and it's ability to fill pockets with gold, no more Cash Shop items to show was support Gaia, no more MCs to do the same thing.

Wow, people are dumb. The point of cash is to sell it to make money to keep the site running. If they give it out for gold, it defeats the purpose.

You're wasting your time. They're greedy lil' teens n' tweens focused on their inability to get daddy's credit card or make the $10 to dish out.

Best part: The petition's been seen and more or less responded to, yet more people keep raising their hands in need of bitching about what they can't work to get.

Not everyone on here is a greedy little tween. Im a 22 year old single mom, and I cant afford to dish out $10 to a website for a fake item. Its illogical in this economy and my situation. There is no running to mommy and daddy to ask for money for a website. I'd like some of the items, but they have the prices set way too high for alot of them. But whatever. Im not in the mood to get into an argument with a kid.

No, that was NOT an insult but merely an opinion directed towards half my own freakin' state.

Then again, I got me one of them fancy-shmancy book-learnin' degrees. That aside: The petition's been seen. It's been mentioned. A "resolution" was decided upon and will remain the same. Some intellectual individual posted Lanzer's link some while back; it's a good read.

Oh, and sorry for the lack of posts for a while (I know I was missed!) but I needed to load up on cash items to throw on the market. Bartering's just so much FUN! 'Course, I do discount my items to people that WORK to get the gold.

I have to say, I admire the creator of this thing for not ridding it of my, and other's comments that revolve negatively around the subject. THAT'S REAL MATURITY! Still, there's light n' dark in all.
